Root [ROM] AOSP BURNTH3ORy

Currently this rom has not been released but it should be released tonight. We have discussed this rom enough that I felt it deserves it's own thread. From what I have read it will be an AOSP rom based on CM but with more Th3ory customizations than A05PTH3ORY. It will include a special kernel and there is currently a link to the test rom at [TH3ORYROM] [GB] FLASH TEST GROUP (Flash Addicts) UPDATED (8/2/2011) - xda-developers but it is missing some of the final tweaks that will be in the final rom. I will update this post to include the rom's thread at XDA once it is released.

I will likely flash this tonight anyone else?

I've been holding off on dro1dth30fy5'5 ROM's but lately have wanted to try one, think this might be the one to pull me away from CM for a test flight.
 
I hope the sound fix is in it, but it isn't a deal breaker if it isn't at least for me. I am curious about the eclipse kernel. You guys will get to flash it before me, I've gotta wait until 12:30 when I get off work to mess around with backups and it will be 1:30 or so before I am charged enough to flash. :(
 
Not to be "that guy", but it says to enable a GPS lock prior to flashing no matter which ROM you're coming from :p

hooray! downloading now :D

thats, you can try doing a flashover if you want,so you wont lose your setup. make a nandroid first,and then wipe cache and dalvik cache only.

worse case is you have some FCs or other issues and youll ahve to restore your backup or go ahead and do a full wipe.

yeahha the OP says enable a gps lock says nothing about flashing gps fix ;)(for the record im not gonna :eek:)

I was talking about my post right before yours.

I have to admit I am jelous of you guys right now. I've got another 3 hours at work, so my download will start around midnight and then I've got charging before I can flash :mad:
 
The only reason I said that is because I know the GPS zip wreaks havoc on some people's phone, including yeahha's. Like I said, wasn't trying to be "that guy". I hate that friggen guy, lol!

I was hoping that was a fluke just for that download and was going to try again. I had a fix that worked with Chevy's rom but 2 days ago my phone thought I was back in Rome yet I've never been there
 
Random, but they just showed a TB commercial during MNF :cool: It was an old one (aired before the phone was released), but still cool
