reinstall from playtstore, or install Sig check disable from the flashable zip. Play store will keep it from fc or just navigate to system/app and place it in a folder and install from that folder after deleting from system/app

the only real deffernce is i took out some apps and added some back in

the reason for this is cause the update zip is to only feature mods and not the huge 1gb code.

apart from me having to upload a huge 500 odd mb file i will be just adding them into a flashable zip
i will leave up the rom. if you want to continue using this.
and after some many changes ill incorporate them into one big rom. for now this helps me test and mod/theme as seen fit.

Awesome. It's great to see atleast 1 rom based off of stock. Also for settings I have a themed aosp settings based off a guide I followed that you could use for this rom if you want it.

Also since aosp lockscreen is disabled does that mean the stock lockscreen is used?

Well to be honest our phone is just like the s3 so I assume that we get there ROM. But with my ink effect guide I said that all the ink was already so it leaves me puzzled as to what the hell is going. I haven't attempted lock screen cause I was getting bad compile errors but I am going to re do it again and really study. And thank this has been a lot of fun for me and yes I will use your themed settings the only problem. Is I won't be able to just copy and paste. ): in secsettings I had to edit a number of files to get it the way it is now. But I been thinking if you can find me a guide on about removing touch wiz or disabling it so I can get a pure stock droid based that would be really awesome.

Nah not all their roms work for our phone, but I don't think there's a way to remove the whole TouchWiz interface/UI.

Oh and my whole question was is the lockscreen currently untouched? Like if I flash this rom can I still use the regular lockscreen?

im thinking about porting a 4.1.2 stock android rom to our phone not the aosp one but the samsung no touchwiz one but this is a low priority for me

i am going to work on systemUI and see if i can get the layout and tab working i was so close last time but my dog kicked the cord lol

ive redid my source on this and fixed it to look better and function better notice how sexy it looks ? this is still wip but will be included in the next zip update

okay ive had a hell of a rough time getting the live part and more toggles added it seems it isnt going to work i am unsure what to do at this point other then theme some apps and see ifi can figure out a few bugs

Okay oddly enough when I tried to switch tasks systemui the one I provided for you just crasged . its still functional but what's weird is I been using it all morning why crash now

It crashed while switching apps but not swipeing them out.

That by messing with the android manafest we could alter the look. But it will ruin the original Sig and the. Touch wiz won't boot. I'm thinking of disabling the Sig check and giving it a shot. But could cause security problens .

Just a signature check disabled you can use other touchwiz apps that are themed with out the need to sign works well. Right now I am still having trouble porting over status bar cause the guide is written for GB Roms

Well I don't know if you've seen this one or not but here's a guide by bootmgr specifically for Samsung 4.1 roms [GUIDE]4.2.2 Statusbar for Samsung 4.1.2 ROM

This guide was the first I followed and got it to work that's how my system ui is the way it was when you asked for it. I'm thinking bigger. Anyway I'm unsure were I want to head with this aosp ROM I'm thinking of removing all touch wiz components or reverting everything to stock somehow that would give us a really good aosp but I'm unsure about the kernel maybe I don't need a new kernel. We need more people with coding experience even if they was just noobs it would help out. Honestly from where I begin with galaxy previle, hoark13 a cable man was able to port over cm7 to that phone and then again with cm9 and yet anyone with a mid to low phone can't even port over a simple remove touch wiz? As always this is how it will be. Android users/Dev only want the newest features at no cost. I personlly enjoyed 4.1.2 even if we had the chance for a 4.2.2 that would be awesome. I am really trying hard at porting a decent stock ROM and no aosp crap. I have nothing against aosp or the devs that kanged it over. But way to many bugs and not enough people to maintain. But I will ether 1, port over a decent systemui fully functional or a decent 4.2 ROM that is stock

I guess removing touchwiz isn't as simple as that? Sounds like you would have to build an aosp rom to get rid of touchwiz. Similar to cm for our phone minus all the bugs. I feel like it shouldn't be hard just to change up the ui.

Remember that post a few back where you just edited the device main theme. All aosp looks are holo and holo light. Some different types of functions reside inside the apps them self's I would consider keeping touch wiz features but minus the look. Most of all the buttons and dialog boxes are themed through the pictures I took a secphone.apk from a themed gb27 (epic 4g touch) and used it on my phone it has been looking like aosp ever sense I did that. And how I did that was removing the signature check. I went through the trouble of decompiling services. Jar and removing the lines that it need to make it think all apps are signed. But you can just sign with test keys I haven't given up on theming but as I also said before my main concern is adding the features that will at least give our little device something cool

Update on what I've been doing. So here's the story so far. My mother has had cancer for about several years now. She lives in a nursing home. And my family is torn I'll leave it just as that. But I am going to take the time to push more Dev on this phone. I really don't care if anyone uses the mods or guides or anything in here there or what ever. Cause only people will know who made it first to make it anyway.
I see why the creator of 3mint framework ceased app development cause honestly people will steal and call there own or I guess "forget " who actually did it and "forget" how to give credit. I had no intention on stealing anyone's work and calling it my own. But I'll tell you what I do miss thou 2.2 froyo when the real Devas came into place of making mods guides and apps for us users who didn't know anything about programming.

And as for the prick who said I suck. Thank you. Cause your hate is what ketp me going from the start. I thank all the devs in the past for bringing us the tools needed to learn and quickly get this done. I thank all the mods for making sure there fourms are in secure "if not all of them"

So why am I bitching about ?

Simple from now on if I make a mod guide or anything and I find out you are using it with out credit to me. I will simply ignore you and let our great moderators deal with you. As for this phone expect a full aosp theme look and some feel to our touch wiz phone.
And I have to say thanks to bootmgr from XDA he's been the biggest help sense no one else can reply an email or a post. "We all have our lives but when your last login is yesterday and you couldn't reply to me that day" I see no future in it. Trying to help make this a better community.
