Thanks for all your work on this. I'm a total noob with very little experience. I only rooted my phone a few months ago and started flashing Roms a few weeks ago. Anyway, I tried out some different roms and found I much preferred stock to any off them. Maybe I did something wrong, but I kept getting bugs (lots of random crashes, freezes, and drops). To me, whatever advantages they offered weren't worth the reduction in functionality. Unfortunately, I failed to properly backup my stock Rom, rookie mistake. So I decided to give this Rom a try and I've been more than happy with it. I used twrp, flashing the original zip and the first update together, and it worked fine. I've been running it for two days now and have only found two problems, both very small with simple fixes. The first was the keyboard issue which was addressed early in the thread. The other is the messaging icon in the bottom menu on the home screen. When I clicked on it, it said the app wasn't installed. However, the same icon worked from the app drawer, so I just replaced it. Anyway, I'm really happy with this Rom and I think I'll be sticking with this one for a while. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see what you're up to. Some of your above ideas sounded really cool. Again, many thanks

Yeah the stock rom is pretty much perfect as is. I personally would just like to theme it and change a few ui things. Also all those bugs are common with roms based off of cm11. Apps randomly crashing, reboots, signal disappearing, low call volume, weak haptic-feedback. For someone like me though who loves customization I tend to switch back and forth between a custom rom and the stock. I like the themes, the different notifications you can use, the call screen. The bugs do get annoying though.

thanks i am just starting off my self on building. really i found it to be a contributed time project. as to where some one made a system dump and then some one made a root and then you know on and so forth. if i can take the time to mod a few files. maybe someone will show some interest.

im little bit confused .is there a way to fix the lg keyboard bug i just flashed the aosp touchwiz on my samsung alaxy exhibit sgh-t599n and im having the problem with the keyboard you mentioned is there a fix for it? thanx

It's me again lol. There's no fix in terms of something the user can do. You would just have to uninstall it and install a different keyboard. Exgen though would have to either keep the default samsung keyboard or maybe change it to where it installs as a system app when someone flashes the rom.

Please edit your post with out quoting my whole ops. In red at the very top it says do not quote whole op. Anyway that issue has been fixed. First flash the ROM. Grab the latest update from my second post. Then at the end of my second post there is a Sig check disabled. Flash all 3. When it comes up it should be fixed. I used voice commands to go on aptoide to DL a keyboard, which worked well enough, since it didn't require any passwords. Also, I think ROM toolbox app by jrummy has a flashable keyboard add-on in the ROM installer section. I haven't tried it myself, so I'm not sure it will work. Anyway, I hope you work it out.

My apologies for this. I understand it can be frustrating when I installed the ROM the first time it went on smoothly but had the keyboard issue. I'll be making an update to this soon as I have almost themed a lot of the elements and gotten a fair 4,2 looking framework going. Its been very tough as I had to deal with outside issues. But do know I haven't given up yet. Thanks for everyones support and using this phone. Hopefully we can get more going on. I also write for the prevail and ep4gt

hey exgen thanx for the rom .really apreciate it.besides the keyboard thing wich is no big deal rom works great. plus using this rom really helped me out with my problem i had after installing cm 11 .cm 11 doesnt give you video recording mode option of limit for mms .wich is what i wanted .thankfully your rom does so again thanx

Which is golden guy, unjustified Dev, bootmgr and few more people who's name I could not spell but they are on here and XDA. With out there recovery I could not have flashed gturns ROM and made the impossible. Possible. Anyway expect some good features and maybe a new kernel for stock ROM only no aosp. Hey big thanks to the op for this and everybody associated with you're work and for all the time and hard work that goes into stuff like this but sadly you're right alot of people forget to give credit for other peoples work and it sucks cuz then people will start to not want to keep development going because you can't take the time to appreciate the time that goes into stuff like this and believe me I'm no Dev but I know from personal experiences how tedious it can be at times. I as well started with the prevail to so I hear you man. I remember after getting outta jail a year ago after doing 2 1/2 years parole didn't let me do anything so all I could do was stay home so I needed a hobbie and I ran into the galaxy prevail and android and its been sweet modding ever since. In short it helped me stay out the streets and get into something more constructive then guns and drugs so god bless man and keep you're head up and I'll go ahead and try to fix my girls phone with this ROM

Hello all I haven't forgotten about you guys. Just my computer broke down and stop working so I had to get another one and then my exhibit touchscreen doesn't respond. I can turn it on but won't respond I have a big update coming but it won't be soon. Also if you happen to have a nexus 7 Flo and a s3 t999 with or without the l you will find me making roms there as well good luck to everyone godbless

I still have this device and willing to help any way I can if this thread is still alive. I have my sgh-t559n Rooted Running pure stock. If anybody has twrp 2.7.0.0 installed and needs my complete stock nandroid im willing to upload if possible ill also test anything anybody had for this little device. Hey shaden stewart ill upload it as soon as possible brotha My wifi has pretty good connection speed so im hoping itll upload successfuly.. im a modder/themer so ill drop any of my work for this device here from time to time nothing major just a couple things that I do for myself that I dont like or think looks ugly.. and anybody out there that has this device I also have a phils recovery complete stock rom nandroid as well. Im just here to help ive destroyed plenty devices but ive fixed many more so if I have the device ill try to provide whats needed. Im not really into flashing custom roms anymore I always run stock rooted with any little mods I can find or make them myself. The nandroid will be in zip format just unpack and play on on root of ur phone storage or sd card.. so im assuming you have twrp 2.7.0.0 installed?

Yes i have twrp 2.8 but it works just the same. Im currently running android 5.0.2 by meticulus. If you wanna check it out its @ meticulus-development.com and id much rather touchwiz. What i would like to see is emojis and the status bar drop down quick settings like in touchwiz kitkat or jellybean. And thanks for your time and help. And is yours tmobile or metro pcs ?
