Posted in your other thread, you flash a recovery once only, then you boot into recovery everytime you want to flash a new RoM and then follow the flash process I have posted before and you should be good to go
Boot to recovery
Go to Partitions menu
Format boot
Format system
Format cache
Format data
DO NOT FORMAT SD CARD
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Go to advanced, press it, wipe Dalvik cache (do this 3 times), then press back
Flash AOSP 2.3 GB
Flash Gapps
Hey DonB, I noticed that I need to format the boot, system, cache, and data partitions when flashing the Android 2.3 ROM. I never did that with other ROMs though, but should I be?
Like for example, if I flashed a CyanogenMod 6.1 ROM or AOSP Android 2.2 or Liquid Sense 2.1, should I be clearing those partitions each time too? I always thought it was just wipe data, cache, and Dalvik cache and you are golden? Also, why do I have to wipe Dalvik cache three times? Thanks.
