I backed up my user apps/data with TiBu prior to installing Apex and restored them afterward without a problem.
Thank you! That's exactly what I needed. >

Yeah thats the entire rom because I swapped all the images before I installed the ApeX rom from the start. I'll see if I can make a zip for just the circle battery tonight
saw this at droid-life.com. Download: Gingerbread Themed LauncherPro by Benny879 - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog. its for people with launcher pro and its perfect with the gingerbread theme. i try downloading but but got an error saying it cannot be phrase.![]()
Can I use the data from my backed up apps on Titanium Backup or do I have to start completely new and fresh?
You can, but I had issues (battery life mainly).
I did a fresh install of everything on Saturday.
Much better.
Hey! Where did our alarm clock go? Can I get it back?
su
alarm -mot
glad to hear that worked out for you. mine has been running solid.
Hey! Where did our alarm clock go? Can I get it back?
Are the voltage settings on ApeX the same as they would be without ApeX?
Can't seem to find the answer to this, I figure if it's not mentioned it's probably stock. I'm just trying to figure out if using "Revert to Stock Settings" on JRummy's overclock app will bring me back to where I'm at now with a fresh ApeX 1.30 install... Don't want to lose that point of reference because my phone currently runs perfectly.

Yes, revert to stock will bring it back to normal. I didn't change any voltage settings this time around.
It's in the clock app. If you want the Blur alarm clock back, you run the following in terminal emulator:
su
alarm -mot
I installed went thought the bootstrap to install the zip and now my phone is stuck at the "M". any ideas?
Guys I'm new to roms. I downloaded a terminal emulator and typed in
su
alarm-mot
It says not found. Maybe a little more direction

Ok... I've been running this ROM for a few days and really like it...
But there are two minor issues that are nagging me:
1) I have two email accounts set up, my personal email through my ISP (Verizon FIOS) and my work email through corporate sync. Under the stock ROM, I could click on the Messaging icon and select which email account I wanted to access.
Now, I only have the email icon itself and it only goes into whatever account is set to default. If I have a new email on either account I can click the notification and get in that way. But, if I have no new email and just want to go to the inbox and read stuff - I have to go in, change the default account, go back out, and then back in. It's a pain in the ass.
I am sure there is a way around this, but I haven't found it yet.
2) This one is minor. I have two wireless AP's in my house, each with a different SSID. Under the stock ROM, when I'd come home and activate the wifi on my X, it would connect to whichever one had the best signal depending on my location in the house. I have a two-story house that is mostly all block construction. I have to have a downstairs AP and an upstairs AP to get wireless coverage all over the house.
Now, it defaults to my downstairs AP which only has one bar of signal when I am upstairs. I have to keep manually connecting to the upstairs AP which as better signal.
test this out for you ...im not meaning to sound rude lol as i know i kind of does but i say this since every x has different reaction to different settings so start with a frequence then try each voltage setting start with lowest and if you are unstable bump it up and if nothing else switch frequence and start over ...whatever you do do not set your settings on boot unless you know they are stable because if they are unstable it can throw your x into a mass bootloop and not leave you enough time to get back into the app to take it off boot .
For #1
Hey, if you have multiple Email accounts using the Blur app, you'll need to restore the universal inbox:
su
sys -rw
mv /system/app/Messaging.bak /system/app/Messaging.apk
sys -ro
sync
Then, you'll be able to access each inbox individually through the 'Messaging' app. From Fab post #194, I was wondering this same thing, still contemplating going to it but so far I'm ok with just getting the notifications.
you can try whatever settings you like ,i didnt mean to worry you i was just saying not to set your numbers at boot until you find ones that work ,and to be honest it changes nothing if you do or dont set a set of stable numbers at boot except for the fact that if you do get a reboot or reboot your phone you dont have to go back into the app and reset your numbersI was good to go until I read this. I want to use the preset ULV 1.2@ 64v, 1.0@58v, 850@57v, and 400@36v. But am a little leary after your post to "set at boot". Based on what Apexs' was in the last version, this should be pretty stable to load on boot, correct? or am I missing something here?
EDIT: I also tried to set a profile for "screen on" at the above settings, but nothing ever changed. sorry to hijack, but I can't remember the ULV settings for the previous version of Apex :-(
this is a known issue for a few people and it happens to me every now and then and i usually correct it with a quick rebootHey,
I did a fresh install of this from the stock 2.3.34 and wiped everything. I did my titanium backup and restored just my apps and no system settings what-so-ever.
ISSUE: My phone will not do the screen timeout if I do not lock my phone. It will remain on forever, charging or not. I've configured the settings for 15 second screen timeouts and for the phone to lock when the screen turns off. None of this matters.
Does anybody know of a fix for the screen timeout?
Alternate issue, not really important: My background in launcher Pro is something different from my lock screen....
