Root [ROM] ApeX 1.3.1 for Droid X - Running, running, as fast as it can (12/16/10)

Its an issue with that specific theme. I had the same issue when I messed with the revolution theme. I have yet to figure out the solution (but im still kinda new at making/porting things)
 
Is there anything about 1.3.1 that would interfere with video chat programs? Does it have some weird replacement or interface with the camera app? I tried Tango, and it solidly locked up (worked fine on the wife's Droid 2).

Great lol I'm thinking about removing the theme just because of this. It's so annoying and inconvenient at the worst times.
 
Does anyone know if any future updates will be released for this ROM? It's my favorite and would love to see even more improvements (In no way am I saying their are a lot of improvements to be made, I just always love flashing new versions.)

He said he was working on a 1.4.0. It takes time to do quality work so just hold tight and enjoy what you have for now.
 
Came back to apex from liberty. Not because I disliked liberty, I just love apex so much. Set up some new screens now that im back on apex. Check out my main screen. Simplistic.

I tried out that widget fir a while, would love it if it didn't have the "Updated" Bar. I hate that aspect..
 
True. I can live with it.. until.someone opens the api and removes it. Wont be long I'm sure. Love how the clouds mold with the widget. Fits perfectly. And how my dock icons hit the road right. Perfect.
 
Hi all, didn't notice this before, but I'm getting double text messages in GO SMS. I'm sure this has been covered, but 36 pages (which bespeaks of the the popularity of this ROM). The only change I can think that I did was d/l the revised messaging app/fix that Fab had a couple of pages ago?
 
I love this rom, but my phone still doesn't ring almost 90% of the time. The volume was on, I was at home and it was sitting on my table. I had full reception. Next thing you know it beeps cause i have a missed call.


I almost never get calls, could it be a setting? Battery performance optimizer, something? I love this rom, my battery never dies..but if I can't get my calls I have to switch back today. I've been using this rom for a while now..

You might want to try a factory reset and reinstall the ROM. I haven't heard of this happening with anyone else.
 
Thanks for answering that for me. I stopped using it though. Because its designed for another android device we don't have the correct settings for it and it doesn't refresh right. I'm back to minimalist text right where the man is standing at the end of the road in my screen shot.

go into terminal and type either
su
messaging -aosp
or
su
messaging -mot
this will either choose the moto messaging for you or stock android then disable the notifications at and you should be good to go

Yep, tried both. I like the motorola 'cause I can look at both my outlook mail and gmail and texts in one place...
I sure don't know what I've done, but my battery life has gone to heck in an hand basket. It's down 30% in about three hours with virtually no use!
Think I need to re-install? should I wait for 1.4?
