Root ROM apk's

Ok, ill rephrase, lol, i actually mean prior to flashing, your like my old English teacher!! Hahahaha.
Ok so here goes.......
When I replace or add apk's to a rom zip file will just the apk suffice or is it necessary to add anything else?
I look forward to your marks out of 10 and hope I don't see any red pen!!

I think i get it, i was making things more difficult than they needed to be, ive never pushed using adb, i was fiddling with the rom zip file, and was trying to modify it for myself, i have learned many valuble lessons from the elite on here, and your time and patience will not go unnoticed, i appreciate i sometimes ask questions like a bull in a china shop, i will always rethink my requests before putting them on here, im still learning all the time and i sometimes forget if i think about it i will already know. Cheers guys,
 
Haha you pair of *****s. You can't wound me by telling me things I need to hear Hahaha, sometimes in life lessons can be hard, but we are always better off having learned them rather than not at all. Now please go and get yourselves a beer and stop feeling sorry for me. ;-) I actually laughed when I read those posts, guys, you 2 plus hadron are the 3 go to guys on here, I truly appreciate you help! No ill feeling what so ever. :-)
 
Haha, it all depends on the situation for me, in my job "run from" is the only option sometimes, unless you want your head kicking in from a train load of drunk football fans, i was only referring to lessons with the desire, but seriously I like asking questions, but i do understand sometimes my questions are daft, Thankyou guys. I just hope you stay on here when you upgrade,
