Well.. Some if not most ppl want a stockish/Vanilla phone with a few specific customizations - none of which was really possible without SuperR's stock ROMs. They definitely saved MY butt.. Flashable saves the day!

Im pretty sure his "stock" roms dont have any customizable features such as over 1000 statusbar battery options... left, right, and center clock options with selectable am/pm and weekday... Selectable Listview animations... Fully cuatomizable quick settings with slider controls... I think u get the point... In the end i ported this over for more to enjoy not to make anyone jealous... Everyone is different and its ur choice to use whatever rom u want :)
 
I don't like stockish Roms I like to change my battery icon the clock I prefer in the center and I love that mysystemui is green list view animation rather have it rotate if Iccan'tdo none of the above might as well stay stock fresh out the box

This was definitely an awesome port, for sure. A question was asked "why flash a ROM that's gonna look similar to right out the box" I reminded the reasoning, lol. Your work is excellent and couldn't come up with any reason to debase it. U even got my clock straightened out. Definite props bro
 
The awe has flashables we got twrp the best of the best we got pacrom carbon ROM cm 21 ROM slim kKat ROM all 4.4.4 all that love for a 39 dollar phone and they all work great but I prefer brittnearl Roms tho can'tforget starkraving great work on the theming u guys are both the man in my book

I think he's working hard on this I know he's not going to leave it how it is..this guy does what he says,I was waiting to get a new phone but I think I'm going to keep this one

You're very welcome, glad that Earl is spreading the love around. At one point I was keeping up with how much and what we edited...well after 15k image, xml and smali edits I gave up lol. This rom is a culmination of a lot of work, brainstorming and revamping a lot of AOSP/CM mods to work with this device. ZTE proprietary code is/was woven deep in framework and most core system apps so it not like cut and paste for most mods like CM or AOSP. Took a lot of trial and error and work arounds to get it where it is. I'm just very happy to have had a hand in this and Earl is great to work with if there's a feature he wants he'll exhaust all avenues of implementation to get it done...if you guys want to see faster ports and device specific work, maybe someone has an extra device laying around to send to Earl? Or your community can get together and get him a Dev phone? Its tough to work blind and do proper and timely trouble shooting...
 
Yeah I've been talking to him a lot. I'd ask if someone can help pay with me but I don't have a PayPal so I might just get a used one off eBay if I have enough this week I really hope I can he's really helped a lot.
anyone has an extra phone I would be willing to order him one for like 35 bucks off eBay. or if someone wants to send me a money order something 10 or 15 bucks towards it I'll order it. I talk to him everyday and he's working hard to get this ironed out for us and trust me it will be I know ( ;
 
Ok 35 downloads and only a handful of feedback??? I am definitely updating this with full xhdpi support :)
Does it seem ok aside from the 4g which will b fixed next release ;)
 
This phone had no development for a long time . I hope everyone didn't jump ship .... Britt has been working on this a lot I hope there's some encouragement for him.alor of people say theyvwilp fix stuff and dissapear but he does what he says. His next update is going to show you why you have never seen a stock based ROM like this ( :

Wait till u c it when in done :) im going to update both this and my "L" Awe rom side by side once im happy with the theming... Its a little harder flying blind lol so not sure when but it will b in the near future :cool: if there s anyone experienced with theming and has this device plz contact me

I think you did a fantastic job with this Dude. Changed density settings and installed 4g switch and it rocks.:smokingsomb:
BTW, native density for this device is 320 I believe.

Does 300 dpi seem like a good number?? I know i was a bit low with release lol

Edit: does ur clock seem to stay updated now?? I added an updated time daemon:)
 
If anyoje hasnt :Download LTE CDMA GSM switcher from play store to get 4g its a red icon. Also 320 dpi is stock and your lockscreen is centered perfect. 300 seems perfect though but the lock screen is over to the left a tiny bit barely noticeable if it doesn't affect the Play Store then it doesn't matter I think 300. Also time is working perfect for me.
You guys haven't seen anything yet.... Hes holding out ( : gotta make sure everything is perfect

No problems with clock, although it did freeze coming out of sleep ounce, but hasn't happened again so it may not be an issue.

after a reset then yes I believe so and yes also reflash your sound enhancements and download dpi changer from play store set to 300 reboot and done.easiest way to know if you have to reflash it is , just reboot and check to see if you have the right kernel installed if not then reflash everything
 
Thanks... I checked the kernel and it wasn't there just wanted to be sure before I did it lol... I'm still new at this.. Destroyed and optimus l9 before success with this phone lol
