Root [ROM][BETA][4.4.4] CyanogenMod 11 for Virgin Mobile and Sprint 6/27/2014

Flashed the update and ran into two problems.
1. Status bar is no longer transparent
2. All the options except wallpapers in theme settings gives me a white screen.

Try force high gfx (I think that's what it's called) in performance or developer options to force transparent graphics. It turned off by default because of the low ram setting.

I'll update this tomorrow. The one I made today was too big to fit on the system partition. I need to remove some stuff.

I'm still on CM10 but I noticed Google Maps having graphics flickering when I used the GPS last weekend. Can I safely replace the maps app (version 8.0.x) with the one from the first post (6.14.4)?

Also, is native wifi tethering supported in this version of CM11? The reason I ask is that the first post doesn't mention tethering.

Yes you can switch to the lower version of Google maps as far as tethering goes you will have to a second party app such as Wi-Fi tether for root users.I doubt this phone will ever see native tether

Thanks for the reply. I successfully installed the older version of Maps over the newer version on my phone.

I have tried Wi-Fi tether for root users before, but I was hoping for a method that supports infrastructure mode. Someone from the Wi-Fi tether for users mentioned open garden: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opengarden.android.MeshClient .

FYI - Radio Shack has the Awe on sale for $40. It's much faster and seems to work just fine with grandfathered $25 plans.

sms no longer works messenger app just crashes, any other app i download and try crashes.. what's going on?

also, google account manager can't handle accounts that use two-step verification.

will these issues be addressed?

I didn't release it yet but the changes really is that I synced up with the latest changes so the new theme engine will be fixed and added things like the heads up notifications

Did you do a clean wipe this is technically a different version of android 4.4.2 to 4.4.4
