THIS ROM HAS BEEN SCRAPPED BECAUSE IT IS BASED ON OLD FIRMWARE. I WILL NOT BE UPDATING IT.


This is an adaptation of the original Marky Beats Rom.

This is a very MINIMAL rom. For those who want performance and less flash.
This rom is 70mb smaller than the original Marky Beats.

Flash at your own risk. DO NOT ASK FOR ETA's. Please read everything before asking questions that may have already been answered.

TO INSTALL:
-MAKE A BACKUP
-You MUST, do a Factory Reset prior to flashing.
-Download or copy the zip to the root of your sdcard
-Reboot into CWM Recovery
-"Install zip from Sd"
-Select zip and hit "yes"
-Reboot!
-Install any hotfixes for your version

I can't get the market to work with this Rom. It keeps force closing. I have reinstalled the entire Rom, wiped everything and fresh installed, no dice. Do you have any idea what could be causing this? When I check the app drawer it still show "Market" and not "Play Store". Maybe something to do with the update part of this Rom may not be working? Good work on these roms though.

I realized I was having that issue and here is what I did. I restored backup. Went into sd card and unzipped the rom. I then took all the market/google .apks and installed them into the system/app folder. I overwrited them all. Then it all worked.sorry I didn't post this sooner.
 
Hi, thanks for this but yeah, the market place/google play doesn't work.

Is it possible to fix this and reup? It's unusable as-is without trying to modify the files yourself. I can't even download and install an ap using the browser and going to google play website.

mine was increased. check the benchmarks thread. there are lots of contributing factors including what kind of sd card you use.
 
i did the zvc update of mbeats1.2 and works flawlessly i can live with it until an update to mblite... requests if possible is leave the entire mblite theme and just change to your new battery icon and the themes flawless maybe even turn the circle wifi and 3g colors to white so they can be visible and the bluetooth/zvc i beleive and this rom would be my favorite already appreciate your work and quickness to your updates but no rush i know you need a break sometime from all this

You installed the boost zvc update, then flashed MB v1.2zvc? Just trying to get some feedback on those that have done this..

well first i did a clockwork mod restore with the one on the forums

that is stock!

let it reboot then go back to cwm and install the boost zvc and reboot
then you can install marky beats 1.2 zvc and u should be good untill mblite is updated ;)
