BEAUTY SENSE CUSTOM ROM​

This is a port of the Beauty Sense custom ROM for the OM.​

Credit:

- The makers of the original ROM.

- This guide for porting ROMS to the OM.

Changelog:

1.0 - Ported ROM. Removed FM radio and Torch application because our phone doesn't have an FM radio or a camera LED.

1.1- Signed zip.

Instructions:

1. Boot into recovery

2. Wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik cache.

3. Flash ROM and boot android.

4. Reboot to recovery and flash gapps.

5. Follow this guide.

If you encounter a "Package file invalid" error, do the following:

1. Go to Application Manager, clear cache and data for Google Play Store

2. Stop the Google Services Framework process and then clear it's cache and data

3. Go to http://play.google.com/store , click on "My Orders & Settings" at the bottom

4. Give a nick name to your phone and make sure the "Show in menus" is checked, click on "update" to confirm the changes

5. Reboot the phone

Nice to see someone else port a ROM

Just make sure you keep it up to date with original ROM

MIUI and BACKside both died on the Optimus V as devs left them alone.
Also my MMS thread doesn't always work. Make sure you test that out if you haven't

Well testing the MMS thread wouldn't work for me, because not only do I not have my phone bill not paid, but I'm in south america. I think the devs will leave this ROM alone, but I'll probably make my own updates. Btw, does AROMA installer work with our device? And if you could find the post of the original ORIGINAL ROM, could you tell me where it is? (I ported a port) And on my device, I'm getting that annoying "SD card is full" error that shows up randomly sometimes on all the ROMs(including stock) . Is there a fix?

Wouldn't the SD card actually be full???
Internal storage is full is the usual notification that likes to annoy us.

No because I check my storage and it says i have 1.9 GB free on my sd card and the application I'm trying to move is about 9 MB. And does aroma installer work on this phone?

did you "clear data" in Play Store?
also wipe cache and dalvik-cache

Not dalvik-cache but i just did it all over again and it work. Thanks.

Tried this ROM as my Optimus was just lying around, I gotta say it looks real nice, but constant reboots and lag.. not worth it. CM7 my Bobz or Reppard are much better ROMs. Anyways thanks for taking your time to port the ROM, its not very stable on Optimus M though.

how bout another link? cubbyhole whateverthehell sux. gets to like 98%, stops, then resume just over writes wachu dl'd already and adds it to the.zip, so now I got beauty sense zip that's like 98mb lol
well, I AM on metro prl 3026 using a metro flashed droidx on miui gb...

You sure it's not your internet connection? If you're using 3G, I suggest to switch to wifi because it's really easy for a .zip to get corrupted on a less stable network like 2G/3G/4G.

Yeah, you can put it up. Just remember to update it every time I update it.
