I've been using an old version of ShapeWriter on my android phones for the last four years, and in many respects, I prefer it over many other keyboard apps.
Concerning the SMS and MMS apps, I normally use the stock app, but did like Handcent back when I used to use it.

Concerning messaging apps, I've probably tried them all and I always end up going right back to Chompsms.
:thumbup:I'm using Talk a lot these days too. It'll be nice one they get the Hangouts app working properly. Until they do, I'm gonna stick with the old Talk app.

Hey Blood quick question were any of your kernels compiled with FUSE?

I'm more concerned about battery life than performance, what modifications should I do to remove o/c and get better battery longevity?
The ROM comes with the non-oc kernel, if you haven't flashed the oc kernel you don't have to do nothing about that.
For battery longevity just use the power control being consciou with 3G/BT/wifi etc... and maybe using a specific governor may help.

I went ahead and d/l'ed the kernel, regulated 100-800 with smartass v2, that seems to have worked.

It's the first time my PRL actually updated it has been 61009 since I activated my marquee . Plus I just moved and my service isn't the best hopefully the update will help

31103 3G swaps to 1X RTT . Is there any way I can get back to 61009 without using CDMA workshop ? I don't have a computer anymo re .

Not that I know of. Also, you don't need CDMA workshop any longer. I use this. You will probably need to revert back to rooted stock to use it if you're using CTMod.
Megatron will probably work ok. I have only tried it with rooted stock but seeing as Megatron is stock based, it should work.

You can skip the part with the hidden menu too. Here's the thread I made to let you guys know about it. The link is in the 1st post. REMEMBER...... YOU CAN SKIP THE HIDDEN MENU PART. Hopefully you can get access to a pc so you can change it back.
I updated PRL one time on CT Mod and it said something about corrupted update or something idk but I Was in roaming the whole time and I was scared boost would find out so I "mistakenly" updated PRL again and I went back to 61009 and got 3g back. So I'm kind of scared to update PRL on CT Mod has anyone been able to update PRL properly?

I didn't release CT for this phone till around May 2012 and these PRL issues have been going on since at least March 2012. heres a link to monsters thread back in the day: http://androidforums.com/marquee-all-things-root/513074-prl-update-warning.html. so its either a issue with the stock rom (which CT is based on), the carrier or the phone itself.
to answer your question tho, I've updated the PRL without any issues before while running CT, but I also updated it on my dads phone a couple weeks ago and lost service and had to manually push a new PRL to the phone to get it working again. so theres probably like a 50% chance of it actually working or getting ****** up.
Well yea I'm scared that it might happen again so I'd rather not do it. Is 61009 the newest so far? And I always wondered, does enabling the roaming option in settings actually enables me to roam on boost or is it just there just because and won't enable me to roam?

I don't know what the newest boost prl is but thats the same one that dads phone got updated to and made it lose service. I switched it to a corporate sprint prl 12123 which seems to be working good tho. and no, boost can't roam.

How is your service? My phone works good outside but not that great inside my home.
