Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

everything should be working like normal now, let me know if you find anything i missed

Verson 3.1
Fixed volume
Fixed phone force closing when receiving calls
New boot animation, wallpaper, kernel splash
Made settings background semi-transparent
probably some other stuff that I don't remember

heres a sceenshot of the new transparent settings. had to change to a lighter wallpaper so you can see it better.

The removed apps zip is still the old one. I'll try to get it updated tomorrow.

Kool thanx for this release. Waiting for the new RemovedAppsGB.zip

I cannot receive an incoming call either, but I just cooked some fries myself for lunch. They were good too.

Seriously, I downloaded the file again just to be sure. I did a factory reset and flashed the zip.

That was the only problem I had with the ROM.

Most folks I know are at work right now so I had no way to test this until a few minutes ago.

Biker gave a good description of the behavior.

FC, phone icon in left of status bar. No way to answer.

There is a setting to have incoming calls not interrupt your current.screen or something like that.

I had mine set that way for a while but changed it back.. Maybe it is related to that?

I flashed back to CM7, but I just thought about that.

Maybe Biker can test that. I will send him a message.

Never mind I think that is a CM7 option. Keep incoming call in background.

But it acts like that on 3.1b

It just does not work.

Edit

Can anyone else receive incoming calls?

Here ya go Bloodawn . I hope I did this right . Thx Optimus .

you did it right but its missing the errors

try turning on logcat before you do anything and leaving it on until you close the FC pop up. post the whole log if you can, it may be like 4000 lines or something

Everything is good on my end, everything works fine. I'm not currently using it due to email. The email fix zip don't work yet and I have to have my work emails on my phone. If it weren't for that I would be rocking it. If I had exchange server email and the 2.x versions keyboard then I would be in heaven :) great work blood!!!! Not bad coming from a paint dude :D

Blood I know this is a little off from the new update but Im still running the other version and something has been kinda on my mind for a question, What is up with the battery circles up by the clock? There is two of them and they slowly rotate Is there any thing they mean or is it just a visual effect?

are you talking about the battery icon for the wp7 theme?

I don't actually know what the circles mean or do lol. its a honeycomb style icon, i just changed the color of it for the theme.

LOL , I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I've been downloading the 3.1 link today . I just checked and now it says 3.1b . I'm gonna try it . I'm also gonna reformat the sd card and get rid of the ext . . I don't know if changing from CM7 is having anything to do w/ this or not . It didn't affect 2.5 . Anyways , I'm gonna start from scratch again . It will take me a few minutes to post results . Hopefully I won't need to . :p

its the same rom, i just threw the b on there so people don't download it expecting it to be 100% right now lol

I thought so but it just finished downloading so I'm gonna use it . Be back in a few . Lemme get this thang taken care of .

yes . I'll do it again . I'll hit the force close screen after the second ring this time .

I wanna add that the phone itself is not force closing . I tap the error message that pops up . If I don't , it just stays on the screen and the phone just goes to voicemail .

logcat needs to be running before the error happens

your not getting a pop up saying com.android.phone has crashed or something?

Yeah , the phone starts vibrating from the incoming call then I get this "The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly" . I then tap the message and the radio loses signal the restarts .

wonder if your cmd isn't showing you the whole log then cause your log should be huge and it should show

E/AndroidRuntime( 541): FATAL EXCEPTION: main

I use PowerCMD when I'm on windows. it saves everything to a text file and the window shows around 2000 lines

I downloaded the Powercmd and opened it . I typed adb logcat .

I get this error when entering the command .

C:\Program Files (x86)\PowerCmd>adb logcat
'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Please excuse me if I'm doing this wrong . This is a first . Thanks for the help , I need to learn this .

right click on the folder that has your adb files in it and click PowerCMD here

it will open up and you may need to switch the tab to your folder

then you should be able to do your adb commands
