Why does it say "Digital Roaming" when I first start the phone? I know when I go to "Airplane Mode" it goes away, but it makes me feel like I'm roaming, lol
 
its not roaming. If you do an airplane cycle it will go away real quick. if you look in phone status it will say not roaming.
 
Guys, can we relax? It was less than 20 posts ago that Requisite0 said Beta 3 would come here soon. We still have a lot of people mentioning the same bugs that we already know about, too.

Nothing you can do about stupid people. Just ignore them and move on. Or be like me and start drinking alot of whiskey :)

HQ video on youtube showed a 1% percent improvement. i actually get the video to play for about 2 secs before it freezes.

Mounting Cache error is normal i guess, since you can do anything like nothing. Anyways i can imagine how annoying it would be reading "CANT MOUNT CACHE'' in every page when requisite is online.

Do the Odin restore to factory and that should go away after you reflash cwm. I had the same issue

reinstalled the drivers 3 times, no effect.. the pc knows its there, i can switch usb on and transfer files, but trying to get qpst to see it is a no go.. even disabled, reenabled, and reset all the com ports and reinstalled qpst and still nothing..

maybe i lost something intricate when i cleaned out my msd card..
 
yea, even turned it on n off a bunch of times to make sure.. the icon pops up, along with the usb icon when i plug the wire into the laptop.. i can transfer/edit/remove files from the msdcard, but nothing in qpst sees its hooked into the right comm port.. but it seen my buddy's electricsheep indulge and the wife's adbeast with stock kernel.. thats whats got me stumped.. maybe my original samsung usb cable is wearin out?

Try restarting the computer. I have that same problem with QPST from time to time but a restart usually solved it.

trying plugging into a different usb port, then add new port and uncheck the show serial and usb/qc diagnostic ports only, then there should be 2 if not more just add them all
 
and yea, that says 1x on the statusbar.. think metro put a cap on my usage.. get bout 20mins at a time on 3g before 1x pops up.. every time..
 
Go into the dialer and type in ##8778# and select USB.

If that doesnt work, you have to switch to a rom that doesn't use the ext4 kernel and try it again. Then you can reinstall cm7. ( Worked for me)
 
So i have been having issues with data on this rom since day one but i think i figured out the issue. I remember that a while back i tried the 2.3.6 update and when i went back to stock i kept the updated modem because i heard it was better for battery life.

Well i just used odin to flash the phone tar from [ACS] THE ODIN THREAD: Return to stock and data started working right after the reboot, I didn't even need to install the rom again.

Odin may say it fails but watch the message box and if download is successful it should work. Not sure if this will help everyone but it worked for me.

Everyone has been having trouble with this rom, its still a beta. Thats cool and all that you rigged it, but the rest of us will probably just wait for it to be completed.

Yeah, I remember hearing about that. Did that issue only come up when you upgrade to 2.3.6? Because I had that version by default when I got my phone and I don't have any data issues besides the Market O.o
