Some have claimed that the GPS does not work. What *exactly* is wrong with your data? and what Provider?
Metro, and at this point I don't know what the hell is going on.

Had WiFi finally working and now all of a sudden it no longer works, all of my contacts were deleted, widgets stopped working, I can no longer connect to USB even though the phone recognizes a USB cable is plugged in, and the status bar options have changed.

I guess I'll just wait for the final versions because none of these betas seem to want to work at all for me.

Edit: And now instead of going into recovery (power button > reboot > recovery) it goes into ramdump mode.

Well.. there's only two betas. One idea is to just try reflashing Beta 2 (make sure you're installing GApps aswell) I've had some issues here and there do to my own stupid mistakes. So it's okay to retry it here and there.

I've already done that three times today, but it only seems to work for about an hour before it all goes to hell.

OC'd 900MHZ, at Ondemand got a good score of 2090.

Seems very promising. No data as a Cricket Vitality user though. I did install the zip provided. Followed the steps given. Not sure what else I can do. Phone won't even let me do a *228 to activate but it seems like calls are fine.

Look forward to a full release. The phone was zipping along nicely while I messed with it. I was losing hope that I'd ever get any other options on my vitality. Very much appreciated!

Stock++ was no better for me. That has it's own issues.

I'll just put up with completely stock for now.

I was having some install issues too demented... due to my own error and the fact my phone is a bit tempermental, but I had a few questions about your problem....

did you install the oc kernal??? cause when i put it on my it just crashed after a few minutes of up time after fully booting ... i'm determined to lick that one...

two. i ended up flashing my phone several times to get it to be stable... but in the end the steps that I took were.. wipe cache partition, wipe data/factory reset, advanced - wipe dalvick cache, fix permissions, mounts and storage - (mount system - format system) i only just mounted the system to format the system and didn't mount it for data or cache, format data, format cache,

after that I installed the beta 2.. mounted the system installed gapps.... rebooted..... airplane mode.... selected my wifi, put in my google info... and waited 5-10 minutes later my market said update superuser and then i did and it downloaded....

and it worked...

and lets just say i'm super happy... hope this helps

I've had cm7 on my phone with the oc kernel for about a week with no problems like I've said before the only issue I have is occasionally ill try and make a call and it will reboot my phone GPS does not work wifi should work try resetting your router sometimes it isn't able to give your phone an IP address I've had it happen on stock too also after doing a flash let it sit for about 10 mins

For metro if you did the qpst boost you must reinput your apn settings I will post the apn settings I have when I get home as I am at work right now

First install I did was with the OC Kernal and my phone didn't like it too much, so I started over again. Kinda strange since my phone has no issues with the OC Kernal on Stock++.

I'm just going to wait for everything to be finalized to save me the hassle of getting stressed when my phone starts to not want to work with stuff. Everything works perfectly for an hour or two and then it's like a switch goes off and it no longer works. :/
The loss of WiFi really sucked when Data wasn't working since I lost all forms of downloading anything from the Play Store and most of my apps need data or internet to work.

Please help when I flash the oc'd kernal it freezez on boot and if it actually boots it will Freeze instantly and then power off same with the stock ++ is there any fix for this I really want my phone to run at 900mhz!!

If it freezes your phone can't handle 900mhz. No way around that but to try a new phone.

Because the other phone came from a different batch of CPUs.

I hade 3 different samsung epics. 1 was able to oc to 1.3ghz. 2 couldnt go past 1.2ghz. Other people where able to goto 1.4 n higher up 2 1.6ghz. Although the phones r identicial they r not made equally. Everything is made in batches. Some batches may pass inspection but tgat dont mean there on par with all the other batches made. One thing req should try is bumping up the voltage for tge 900mhz step then maybe it will work on your device.

lol voltage is already maxed at 900.

Have any Cricket users flashed this successfully and had data? Just curious. I'm dying for CM on my phone, even though rooted with all bloatware removed on the Vitality is already buttery smooth for a low end phone, unfortunately data just doesn't want to work for me.

Goofed around with it in wifi mode and loved it. Just hoping I luck out and data gets fixed for people like me or maybe a fellow Cricket user will point out I can do something.

Regardless all the hard work is so appreciated!
