Like the setup you have here. 2 questions. 1- Is there a zip for the original metro browser? LOL, call me old fashioned, but I kinda like it better. 2- can ld's unleashed kernel work on this ROM?
 
The next release offers ninesky browser.... which is really fricken fast! I used to use this a while back.. but an update had a bug... its fixed and now I'm right back to it and offering it in v1.2 very soon.

I can set you up with metro browser... but you may want to try on the new one first.

As for the kernel.... YES! By all means... you can unleash this rom! Use whichever kernel your cpu likes the most :)

if you check the "Add-Ons" link in my signature there is a metro browser cwm flashable zip there :D and yes the kernel should work just fine i believe ;)

What I like about Metro's browser is the ability to use the PC mode. But if the ninesky does the same thing, I may just give it a try.
 
Sorry folks, but it looks like DVR is going to have to end at v1.2.
DoVeR not gonna have a phone for long time.
Note: Throwing Esteem across room make it stop working.

I will dig up V1.2 for ya'll as soon as i figure out how to get the latest zip from my microSD to my computer.

The last changes were as follows:

Browser = Nine SKY
Minor Build.prop changes
ICS Keyboard
Themed MMS as shown in previous Thread + new Emoticons
+ possibly a fix to prevent Market from updating. (was just about to test it before all hell broke loose here)

Will have V1.2 to for ya'll as soon as i can!

DONE!

Use no-frills cpu control classic. Go into settings & check disable safety valve & prevent changes from other apps.

Went back in the thread to try & find why you would want to prevent the Market from updating. Does the updates crash it all?
 
Found a small problem that I haven't read about here yet. When I hook up to my laptop in mass storage mode it doesn't read my internal storage, only external. & when I unhook it I have to reboot to get it back up.
 
Storage works just fine for me :)

As for market. When you load from... you have a nice dark themed market with a cool 3d icon. As soon as you set up your Gmail account... play updates and you loose all that googness
 
That's weird. I was just on utube and it works fine. Can anyone else confirm it working please. This goes for PC connectivity as well :)
 
Hey Dover I got a question for myself.

Randomly... my phone reboots.

It happens after I finish doing something... anything. Like after a call... after a text message. Browsing net... anything.

This does not happen while I'm in the middle of something. Only seems to happen when I put down phone or put in case.

When it does reboot... it only takes like 10 seconds to do so. Then once its up... my status bar is gone. But its not really gone! There is any empty transparent bar at top, and I can pull it down and I have date and everything else.

Wtf Dover!

No one else seems to be having this problem. If anyone is... please let myself know please.

And if anyone has any ideas for myself... please let me myself or I know what me should try.

Hope you're not giving up on this one....phone is running smooth for what I use it for....really enjoying this rom.
 
hey D, theme is outstanding bro, looks awesome!! jus need a few patches on dialer & mms theme ;) besides that the thing looks awesome lol gonna use it for personal use :D, maybe if i make some personal changes ill fill yu in see if yu like em or not

o and the 4g icon is the ugly stock one lol

Sorry came across wrong...meant that I'm not having any the issues previously listed. I'm certainly not at the level you & Idrifta are at so I can't give much suggestion but just wanted to say, for me, this rom is bada$$!
