Help Rom flashing

So whats. The real deal with rom flashing? I've been searching .several hours on the forum with no luck. first of ar there other additional rom to work with a galaxy prevail? I have a c s updater but notice that there is only 1 rom shabby available. when I try to install this mod it tells me my s d card is not mounted but it is. 1 other thing is that when it backed up my rom onto my s d card I couldn't find the folder on the s d card. any and all help would be appreciated thank you.

Head over to the root section for roms. Most are flashable via cwm. Shabby mod in available isn't really there. There where major issues with 1.0 and 1.1.

installing rom manager was your problem. start saving ur money for a new phone

There is a reason why "Sticky" threads exist. Unfornately based off the first one on the site http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-prevail/428011-warning-do-not-use-rom-manager.html, it may already be too late for your Prevail. I am glad to see you found some solid advice in that thread.
