Root ROM from Verizon GB

Technically GB isn't officially out, they delayed it. That being said there are a number of GB ROMs available. Some with Sense 3.0 and some without. I'd suggest checking out The Thunderbolt ROM List and find a ROM you think you'd like to try. You can click on the links and they'll take you to that ROMs thread where you can read some of the descriptions/user comments to get a better idea if it's something you want to flash

I was un aware that the ota update was delayed. I have been running das bamf sense 3 4.9 for a while now. I have been waiting for the day that roms are released based off of the Verizon ota.

I wouldn't necessarily just run a ROM that was based off of a Verizon OTA..There are so many ROMs currently available that have Gingerbread, which IMO, will blow out Verizon's OTA out of the water whenever the "stable" one comes out. There are a ton of excellent DEV's around here that know exactly what they're doing.. If I were you, I would look in the ROM section and pick you a good Sense 3.0 or 3.5 ROM (I assume sense is your thing because of the ROM you are currently running) out and use that...thats just my $0.02..

I would. And I can't wait until the OTA comes out. Presumably, it will fix the VVM and gtalk video chat problems. The Sense GB ROMs so far are based off of faulty VZ leaks.. When a good OTA comes out, all of those ROMs will refactor based off the OTA.

erishasnobattery has fixed the VM notification issue and most developers have baked it into their ROMs.

Not many (if any) of us run sense ROMs around here. I would say head over to teambamf.net and chose one that you like. Team BAMF has a strangle hold on sense ROMs so if you can't find one you like there then maybe you should give AOSP a try ;)

All of the AOSP and sense ROMs are great in their own ways. I'd suggest making a nandroid backup and flashing a few and seeing what you like. Everyone is going to have a different opinion on which ROM is the "best". Now that you're rooted you can make that decission on your own :D
