I already had SPB Shell. It runs great on this ROM. :)
 
I ended up editing the build.prop file and turning off the boot sound before the patch was released. It really didn't bother me either.

Smashing job on the ROM! I'd have to say it's very very nice.
 
Very nice rom. Great notification bar/icons. Like the changed lock screen sliders.

May I ask what the default system font is? Really like it.

It says Ads are off by default but I just reinstalled my usual horoscope app and the ad at the bottom is there. How do I switch this off? I went into scripts, typed in ads, it told me b or s for block or show, I type in b and it says "not found".
 
ok so im new to all of this, and im stuck..i go into rom manager, tap install from sd, click the zip, it loads into a blue screen with fastboot, help please?

Question about the battery saving script because i'm confused about what the options do/mean. Is it best to do nothing with the script to have the best battery life? And if not, which option in the script is the best option for longer battery life in case I find i'm having trouble with battery life?

Someone may correct me if i'm wrong.... the ad-block script blocks applications from sending requests to ad servers. There are some apps thos whose ads are built in, thwarting the ad block script. I occasionally get these myself. I either tolerate the occasional ad, remove the app, or replace with one that uses ad servers. I hope that this was helpful (and that i'm correct).
 
as far as scripts go is the only way to OC through the batt-cfg script? i have noticed that this ROM saves a lot of battery life. fully charged my phone before bed & 6 hrs later i was still running at 97%.
 
I'm getting errors when trying to install just a few things... and one of these is pretty petty, but just so you know what's going on...

EDIT: Unmounting the SD card allowed both to install.

EDIT2: Used Root Explorer to find smdl2tmp1 and rename it smdl2tmp12 temporarily. It then sort of allowed me to install the apk. It hung up during the installation, as in never said the install completed, but when I backed out of that, it was in fact installed and working.

There is an app included in the ROM that allows you to config the cpu. It has a very non-descript name.

It's called no-frills cpu control
 
Ya this is the best ally rom i've seen to save battery life
