how are you guys having bad battery life? there has to be a reason, my phone stayed idle yesterday and got in my car around 4:30 and it was at 70% slightly above normal, cause its usually at 65 or so, maybe i got a better version than the rest of you, haha
 
I REALLY like the theme of this rom, but it does need some work. I have some screens with white text on a light gray background that are unusable. I suspect that's from not having a consistent white text on black background since some screens are dark and some light.

I don't understand why a CM DX dev can't add a battery profile to it.

BTW, Camera Advance Lite seems ok, but still no working panoramic camera app.

Nah its not that its pleasing, its that my phone just does not work right with this rom.

Im trying apex again, guess we'll see.
 
Went to VZ to have them charge my battery so I could SBF after I got stuck in boot loop and they said they had to charge it in my phone, which wouldn't work since it was in a boot loop. Ended up buying an extended battery which had a charge on it so I could SBF. Not sure why I have this issue with MIUI sometimes where it will go into boot loop an hour or so after I flash the rom.
 
they lied to you sarnow, they dont have to charge it in your phone, next time just say look my phone is at home my idiotic gf/wife brought just the battery cause i said bring it to me so i can charge it.

dont let them tell you they have to charge it in your phone.
 
Is anyone having issues with Market not recognizing all your apps? I restored my apps using Titanium Backup and the Market only shows that I have 29 apps installed instead of the 70+ that were restored.
 
worked out since I wanted to get an extended battery but was planning on getting it from amazon for much less.

You need to use the market doctor that is in Titanium Backup settings to reset your market links.

OK I have problem after installing this Rom. Was on rooted stock .602, before installing this rom I wippe data/cache then installed. After it booted up I got error "The application Setup Wizard (process com.android.setupwizard) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"

Would like to gice this rom a fair shot, but at this moment is a no go due to this issue. :(

Anywho, if anyone figures out how to resolve the Google Voice issue, please me know. :) I use it quite a bit for international calls and it was working fine until I started to use 1.9.9

For now I'm sticking with CM7 GB.

in all honesty i say reboot the phone and try again, or try reinstalling miui again

No, when I say "picture" I meen the background ( water,trees,whatever) not the Avatar pics. I see those.
 
Anybody else having an issue with the phone turning itself back on. Not a reboot. Ive turned the phone off three times today only to watch it turn itself back on within about five minutes. :confused:
 
Maybe it's just me but is the battery level no longer displayed as a percentage in the notification bar? After updating to 9.16.1, it's just an battery icon that slow drains. Thanks.

Edit: Fixed it. I needed to change Battery indicator style from graphical to percentage.

I dont know what was wrong. Tried installing the darn thing three times after SBFing every time of failing. It finally worked the third time, but not with putting some thought to it. I had to install GApps, then the rom decided to worked.
 
Im having problems with text messages. When I send a message it starts one thread like it should, but then when the person replies it starts another thread using the same contact name. Anyone else getting this?

you installed gapps? thats strange, miui should come with it preinstalled...

doees it happen whenever you send a message?
 
I'm having some issues with sound recording. Both the in-call recording feature and the sound recorder app aren't working for me. They act as if they are, and they save .amr files equal in length to the duration I attempted to record, but when I play them back there's nothing but silence.

Anybody know what's up?
 
Yes, the media volume is turned up.

I'd like to have this feature as a simple way to record call-in audio for my podcasts.
 
Just downloaded this rom and can't figure out how to add ringtones to mu contacts. I'm sure there's a way.
 
Shoe can be fixed by flashing DXC's new bug stomper for Miui. As for setting a ringtone per contact I'm not sure... must be in the contacts section though... I've never done it, I'll look into it later today... gotta run to work now.
