suprised no one has posted this yet, but here is the first gingerbread rom ported to the incredible. It's definitely not a daily driver (plenty of bugs) but it does boot up. I obviously had nothing to do with this ROM and take zero credit for it.

Update: 12-17-10 there is a stable build available, worth checking out. Source is coming today for gingerbread.

Update:12-20-10 new build available OMGB-4, still an alpha rom, but is stable and mostly everything works.

Yeah, I've been following this on XDA this week. Looks promising already but they're going to need code eventually. Seems to me they're ahead of the curve though and already have a lot of things working.

He has his stable build from the source up now! IT IS SWEET! You guys should check it out, OMGB #3.

It is sweet and exciting to see what is to come. It is for the most part stable and faster than anything I've ever seen on the Inc, but is not ready yet for prime time. If anyone is looking for a complete and reliable Ginger ROM hold off for a week or so.

Of course you can help the community by trying it and reporting issues....this gets a complete build out sooner to all of us! :-)

From the video it looks like it runs like crap. I'll hold off for a bit personally.

v3 actually runs very well minus some bugs. Like I said it's faster than anything I've run on my Inc. Smart to hold off though if your looking for a daily ROM. It's almost there though ;)

Im using this as my daily, OMGB V4 is out and for a ROM that has only been in existence for like 48 hours it is VERY impressive. Only issue i am really wanting to be fixed is GPS. And if you think this is slow, you really need to load it up and try it out. It is blazing fast! Near 40 MFLOPS on Linpack!

Really a new thread needs to be made for this. This ROM is nothing like the SDK dump, it is compiled from the source.

I've reached out to r2DoesInc over on XDA to see if he is interested in maintaining a thread here so in the meantime, let's keep posting info in this thread.

If he is not interested, I have a thread all ready to go!!
