Root Rom Help

Im kinda new at flashing roms i downloaded 2 different Roms but i got the same problem with both. I install them threw recovery fine its when i reboot the phone after I get a screen saver like thing on the screen they both had different pictures but i thought maybe it was installing but theres no progress bar it says nothing and i waited 15 min and it wouldnt let me do anything i just took the battery out and restored from a backup . What am I doing wrong here should i wait longer are those pictures suppost to be there????

What ROMs did you flash? What recovery are you using? What is the size of the SD card? Did you wipe data/cache/dalvik cache before flashing the ROM?

It is possible they were bad downloads, too.

it sounds like you did not wipe properly.......

and to add to tube517's questions:
what is your hboot and do you have s-on or s-off?
