Root [ROM] HTCCM10 build 20130102 *Touch Screen Addon

Yeah , so many nice ROM's around but I cant use em if the 4g doesn't work.
Developer(s) PLEASE FIX IT

∙ Integrated repo with TeamJB
∙ Flash support added
∙ Updated Device files
∙ Fixed 4G (unable to test but does turn on)
∙ Fixed Camera 2D

4G should be working now, however I can not test it due to 4G not available in my area. Also Flash support has been added into the ROM, this may or may not stay. Camera is now working, however you will not be able to play back recorded video on the phone. I did play back on the PC with no problems. Still lots of work left to do but it's much better than before.

Wanna take a moment and thank you very much for building onto this ROM for us. I really am looking forward to when some of the kinks are worked out, and is at a usable state for my taste. Not to diminish what youve done, cause god knows I cant do any of this. I hope somehow MMS will be workable on this.
But Just wanna say thank you for doing this and the update that came today!

I S-Offed 2 Evo Vs, gonna S-Off an Evo 3D soon with windows 8 64-bit. I think they only post that because they don't want to deal with operating systems they don't have.
 
I also would love to use these roms, but as I bought my EVO V with using the 3d in mind, I cant really make these daily drivers til someone figures out how to get 3d fully working (not to downplay what you guys do, I know its hard to get these things working, I couldnt do it, just saying my reasons for not using them)

I hear ya, I think the 3D is cool but its also not a show stopper for me. The main focus right now is fixing video playback and MMS. After that I will spend some time on the 3D.
 
I agreed 3D camera isn't a show stopper for me.
CM10 is better than CM9 my personal opinion.

I appreciate devs hard work.

This looks very promising! I cannot wait for all the features to be working, or at least 3 D MMS, G 60 you are awesome!
 
not sure if was just me or not but the 4g would not work was getting under 512k with it and was showing 1g which is very unusual for my area usually get 11mb tried reflashing but could not even get the a 4g symbol other then that great rom love the look and feel of it

Thank you both for testing I will look more into this. They just got 4G in Albuquerque but sadly I live on the outskirts of town so I don't get coverage. Ill try and do some more testing on this when I can.
 
I think the 4G icon, does not work on any CM9-10 roms, it would connect but the 4G icon won't show on status bar.

I tested in my house, just testing with Harmonia 3 now and it's not connecting either, so I must have no signal here.
I'm sorry, I just got this phone. I have to restore it with yours and test somewhere I know has good signal.

I am really grateful for your work though and so excited to see this rolling.

@g60madman, maybe you can post this in VMRoms so people there can also help with the testing.

and I can appreciate that.. but as I said in another post the 3d is a show stopper for me, otherwise I wouldnt have gotten the phone as VM (Sprint) sucks where I am (NE PA) its only 2g around me. really bought it for the 3d features *smiles*. but I love seeing what the devs can make this phone do

I do have to ask, for those who say the non working 3d isnt a show stopper? if not, wht did you get a phone where the main feature that seperates it from others in its group, is the 3d?

LOL I didnt even care about the 3D when I bought mine.... you know how many 3D photos I take.... 0.. I cant share whem with anyone.... I Got this phone because it was the best VM offered at the time. :) (Specs, price)

Honestly the only reason I left the Triumph is I wanted a working camera in ICS. Nothing else drove me to buying the phone than that, accept maybe price as I got $100.00 off from cyber Monday. I was leaning on the Evo One as well but after talking with Mobstergunz I was sold. 4G, 3D, more Ram, more CPU is just an extra bonus but wasn't something I cared about at time of purchase. To be honest I am not a big fan of HTC software, the Sense software looks so weak to me, I love the clean look of CM9/CM10 and really striving to get the rest of the bugs fixed with the little programming time I have these days...anyways back to work :D

Speed. The Evo V 4G is by far the most powerful phone offered on the Virgin Mobile network, atleast it was when I got mine. That was more important to me than the 3d. 3d can be fun to play with, but after I initially got the phone I haven't used it.

If 3d is a show stopper for you then you should probably stick to the Sense 3.6 ROMs. Its not something that can easily be implemented in CM. The Evo 3d has been out for over a year and I don't believe that they have working 3d in any of their AOSP based ROMs.

I'm in the same boat as the others, 3d is just a neat gimmick for me, show off to my friends but I rarely use it. I came from the Optimus V, and wanted a bigger screen and faster phone, I almost bought a triumph but there were so many issues I just decided to hold out.

I bought the evo v during the launch week as I was so tired of the opV, I can't use 4G where I'm at either, its just a large screen and powerful phone. The best virgin had at the time.

Closest 4G is an hour north in Tampa or hour south in ft Myers, I have family in both so I can use 4G when I visit, it's amazingly fast.

On topic, this rom looks awesome and I'm holding out for video playback to be fully working, I was on paranoid android, but moved back to a sense based rom as I've been getting a ton of MMS over the holidays. Thanks for bringing me development to this phone g60, you're doing great!
