Root [ROM] HTCCM10 build 20130102 *Touch Screen Addon

well you would be contradicting yourself by asking for battery life and more tweaks... but i think cm10 brings the best of aosp and aokp together...

Actually it is the other way around. AOKP is built upon CM10, packing it full of features that CM10 doesn't have. But, CM is more stable from what I've heard.

∙ Added working Mms.apk
∙ Added fixed apns-conf
∙ Added Virgin Mobile Branding
∙ Removed flashplayer
∙ Removed CM Explorer
∙ Reconfigured naming convention of ROM "HTCCM10-date.zip"

So this update has fixed a lot off issues. First off video playback works by default but the CM video playback has never been very good in my experience with multiple formats (avi, mp4, wmv. etc). I would highly recommend downloading MX player or some other 3rd party video app. Netflix is working but still crashes if you jump ahead on the video. I find it works best if you do a clean reboot and then launch Netflix. Mms should be working now, there should be no extra settings you need to change to get it to work just use it!!! Also the ROM is now fully branded with Virgin Mobile. So no more sprint on the lock screen. I also removed CM Explorer. While it's a nice looking app it's not very useful, and there is hundreds of free and or paid explorers that clean its clock. Oh and also removed ROM from BETA status as it's pretty damn solid minus 3D.

As always enjoy :D

G60 are you gonna add tweaks/ mods on this Rom:D

Every CyanogenMod-based ROM I've tried on this phone has had an issue with mp3s, where it would not play one the first time, it would just hang until you force-killed whatever app you tried to play it with and tried again. It's not THAT big of a deal, but is this fixed on this? If not, maybe we could look into it?
Anyway, fantastic work man. This ROM is, literally, exactly what I've always wanted on this phone. I'd donate if I wasn't broke. (Actually, I probably wouldn't be using Virgin Mobile if I wasn't broke, but still :) )

Hey, I've been keeping an eye on the progress being made this far and now with that MMS fix this is going to be my new daily. I do however want to report in that I tried hooking up my phone to my tv and the image was all garbled up. I know this is trivial to most but I figured I should point it out.

I also was wondering if your or anyone else knew how I could go about changing the VIRGIN MOBILE carrier text.

Regardless THANK YOU for your work. I very much appreciate it.

Changing the text CAN be done...I THINK there's an XML you can edit..but I'm not sure. I haven't done it that way in a long time.

If anyone knows an app, feel free to chime in ;)

always have the issue with the first song not playing too... apollo force closed and music plays again...

also have an issue with wifi where i connect to the network and everything works but in 2-3 hours or so, i come back to find that wifi doesn't work..

it says saved but it wont say connected... messes it up for all my other devices too... its recognizable but not able to connect... to fix i have to reset router... never had this problem with sense but have it with cm10/pa/pacman all the time... ive seen people complain about this but haven't seen a fix so if any1 can figure that out...

g60madman, thanks again! I got the ROM working.
I have a Virgin USA Mobile, HTC EVO 3D ( with the Sprint Logo ) which came with hboot 1.58. Every time I tried to install your ROM it boot-looped and I when back to the stock ROM. ( Phone is unlocked, S-off, rooted, etc etc )

Taking ramjet73 advice I installed "PG86IMG_JBear_1.50.5050_hboot_GB.zip" see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1817513

So far it works, I am able to boot and use CM10 and TWRP v2.3.3.0 (recovery) is working 100% see: TeamWin Projects - TWRP 2.3 - HTC Evo 3D (CDMA) | TeamWin

Downside is that hboot 1.50 will NOT boot ICS based ROMs ( at least for me, keeps boot-looping )

Thank you G60, this rom is really really good. It is smooth beyond belief and my daily driver. I just want to point out that skipping on any video will force close whatever you're playing. Other than that its fast, and battery efficient. Can't wait whatever else you bring to this rom :D

Report: Netflix locking up phone hard after 8-10 minutes.

Request: port some if not all of the best features of the MAC kernel ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1866375 )

Note if you install the MAC kernel on CM10 then you lose WiFi ( not sure why ) and maybe other radios.

The kernel is highly optimized, should increase phone efficiency/speed by 20-50%
Is this something I can assist with?
