Root [ROM] HTCCM10 build 20130102 *Touch Screen Addon

I had a weird issue where my phone kept crashing when I plugged it into my laptop. I wiped cache and dalvik cache and I cannot recreate it. In hindsight, I should have pulled a logcat.

The 4G seems to work, but I cannot get a status bar icon to appear. I will turn on 4G and it will show I am no longer connected to 3G. I will pull down about 4Mbps, so I know that there is no waw that VM 3G speeds. My 4G does seem slower in this ROM, has the VM WiMax throttle been removed in this rom?

I have also had the notification light periodically not light up when a text is recieved. These are the only issues I have had in the first few days of use, and I must say, I am impressed. This has been by far one of the most stable "non-official" CM builds I have ever used.
 
Soo far the rom is fast and good battery life but there's some apps on the play store that will FC or just bugs on it and the stock apps some will FC and have bugs too and I Really Really love to see this ROM gets Tweaks/Mods
But soo far G60 you made a really awesome CM rom for us thank you soo much keep up with the good work

Yeah right now Chairshot and myself are working on revamping the whole ROM and pulling back the source from dastin, and moving it back to CM. Also I am working on a new kernel as well, 1st for me (like a virgin). However after all then initial comments on this ROM there is for sure some work to do. I really appreciate all the feedback from all of you! Hoping in the next few weeks will have something released.

Sorry I wasn't a bit more thorough in my last post it was 3 something in the morning. Been running this since then,

HBOOT 1.04
Radio 1.09
Recovery TWRP 1.1.1 Complete wipe, formatted \system.

MP3 works out of the gate with poweramp. Chrome has the flickering bug. NFS Most Wanted is a little choppy here and there but I suspect that to be the kernel as I came from Anthrax O/C'ed to 1500. The rest of the EA games I have are fine. I don't have Netflix anymore so I can't attest to that. All the Angry Birds work fine but that's to be expected. WiMax is just as good if not better signal wise, speed is still 10+meg down 2 up (faster than my cable but the 99ms ping is a dealbreaker for online gaming). A problematic app that I had coming from midnight rom was Tv Guide, however that app preforms flawlessly. All my streaming radio apps seem to work however Facebook won't update my contacts for some reason that is probably my fault. WiFi Tether works just fine 3g or 4g, as does skype. As far as the 3d camera not working.. Who cares! This is a great rom that can only get better especially with g60 on the job! Great job sir! ;)
 
Idk if this has been covered or not but the camera in recording mode force closes..... says gallery has stopped or sometimes says nothing and forces closes... is there a fix for the camera anytime soon? recording is the only issue.

great job on the rom. few little issues here and there but its new. also I want to throw this out there when you send MMS or or have MMS incoming it wont download while on Wifi you must close wifi then the item with either send or download. just wanna point that out.

Go SMS work? I rather like all the themes you can use, and fully customizing the theme on my phone. Though, I'm pretty sure it won't work. Just a thought that couldn't hurt to ask ;)
 
Since everyone is talking about music playback problems, I might as well add to it a bit.
When I first hit play in Pocketcasts, it will just hang until the message to wait or kill pops up. After killing, the next attempt to play works perfectly fine.
 
Having trouble getting the second core to stay on. Kernel tuner is not working. It only stays on for a minute.... weird........is there something I can do
 
As far as kernel tuner, I think its an app issue. There may or may not be an alternative. Can't say for certain. Never really looked.

MMS SHOULD be working...But I've not tried this ROM yet. Maybe I'll do it now...
 
any update on when we can record? lol I have this nice phone and girls that need to be recorded lmao...
 
I just installed it tonight, so far I've noticed four issues with it:

1.) It's kinda laggy, for example when scrolling home screens, even with no icons on them.

2.) Face unlock doesn't work, it just goes right to pattern unlock, doesn't even attempt to unlock with face.

3.) Visual voicemail does not work, it doesn't even appear to be installed.

4.) Under Gallery, when you select "Settings" a blank page comes up. Not sure if there's supposed to be some settings here but nothing appears.

Other than that, it's awesome! I haven't tried MMS or video recording yet though.

P.S: On a side note, would it be possible to do something to make the phone compatible with the ever growing list of apps in the Android Market that do not want to work with this phone. GTA 3 and Vice City, Pogo Games and Monopoly are four I know of. I see no reason for these apps to be "incompatible" (and therefore not downloadable)? I've heard it has something to do with ICS.

1) yes this is on the todo list

2) Weird face unlock is perfect for me. Here is my current setup
ENG Hboot 1.04
PRI 2.17.651
Radio 0.97.10.0530
Recovery - EXT4 v1.0.0.5 RC8 (Paid Version)

3) the plan is to integrate that in the next build

4) I tested this on CM9, and CM10. This looks like CM removed this feature. However in CM10.1 it looks like it's back!

PS: When working on the Triumph, some one hacked the build.prop to lie to the store that we where an HTC Thunderbolt so more apps where available. The stock gallery app will not play animated GIFs on the SD card. The gallery app in the stock software would. It just shows the first frame as a still image. Is this a cyanogenmod "feature" or is that broken in this build? And if it is broken, any suggestions for local playback?
 
Dang. Not sure why picture uploading isn't working but I was at 49% and been on battery for a little over a day.

Edit: there we go. Apparently I had to buy the unlimited photo upload for Tapatalk.
