Okay guys, I don't really know who to give credit for on this, but it seems that between TG, Isaac, Mantera, and MANY others, a preALPHA release has hit. I don't recommend installing this, as it is sluggish and calling won't work. That being said, great work so far, these are exciting times...ahh, the cusp of CM9:

It's Here! ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) EARLY ALPHA ROM for the Motorola Triumph - Android 4.0 NOW! - YouTube

What I will say is GREAT job to all those involved and I can't tell you how excited I am to see so many more people getting involved in the Motorola Triumph Scene! Good job to all those who have contributed already and to those working so hard to learn what needs to be done so they can help as well!

Is this something new or the original ICS that isaac had done last month? Just weird to see this here and not in the ics thread? (I may have missed it so apologies in advance!)

I think that is mantera's build from the discussion... It has stuff puled from cm7 and Isaacs git.

Edit: also I personally wouldn't even call it alpha... The only thing it does is boot and the touchscreen works...

Marc is correct as to the version. I figured I'd post it here instead of that thread so that the development thread didn't get bogged down with people asking non-development related questions there.

I like how you worded it "proof of concept" in the video :)
Thank you, Minus for your consistent dedication to making videos of tutorials and demonstrations. Coming across your videos some time ago finally enticed me to try CM7. Thanks for that..

Anyway, on topic.. Progress :)

Thanks, but I am not too sure what to do there, I didn't see a flashable zip file.

the video does a really good job of showing us the progress on ICS so far, but as you can plainly see its useless as a rom and not worth installing.

the link to download was under the youtube video, in the description.. easy to find.

dont be disapointed when you load it and nothing works.
