Root [ROM][ICS][PORT]gummyWorms

i was able to download and install chrome beta and even open the app but then it just hangs when I try and load a page ........

I had read in the xda forum that it didnt work because of the hardware acceleration and as I recall someone on another ICS thread said that to get the hwa to work they simply changed a few values in one root file or something ..... what are everyone's thoughts on the matter.

Hardware acceleration is more complicated than that. Only the latest Evervolv Preview & Deck alpha have HW acceleration enabled, so that Chrome works.
 
I ran Gummy last night and then saw there was an update so I flashed that and took it to work.
Made a few phone calls, listened to Pandora until 1:00p.m. and while eating a late lunch I was reading something in my Speed app when it decided to reboot on me.

I was relatively happy with the Rom but it needs more work. It was laggy alot and kept asking if i wanted to FC or wait on stuff. I always chose wait but it was mildly annoying.

Hopefully the bugs get worked out.

Trying Milestone 4 now and tomorrow I think.
I do appreciate what PSP is doing with these roms but I would rather reflash everything in one zip instead of just flashing updates all of the time. I feel like if it's all in one there is less of a chance for problems. Just my thoughts on that.

There has been updates to this Rom.
PSP has been building from the Gummy source I guess. So it kind of started from scratch. Many seem to be happy with it though.
 
Tube, I updated the first post in this thread with everything included in this rom.

The OP from the XDA thread says that the Camera and camcorder both work.
I hope to flash it this week and see how it looks.

I also updated the link to the XDA threa in the first post here since the one there didn't exist.

And why hasn't a guide edited the original post where the download link should have been with the posted link instead of making people search for ocns posed link?

I updated this thread's first post with the XDA link.
The newest files are in the Nightly's folder.
