Hmm not sure. I did a fresh flash just a while ago, signed into my gmail and then went to Google Now and working fine. :/

I'm going to be putting up a small update to fix a few things in a few hours.
 
Seams panorama is missing from the camera. When you click on gallery from the camera nothing happens would be nice to link to the google gallery. The lockscreen doesnt show anything when you first start also, fixed that with using widgetlocker. overall pretty smooth and so far less glitches then asopsense.

i made a couple mods and tweaks to this and its running pretty slick. I ran the de-sense tool to rip the remaining HTC gunk off and get rid of the pull ring lock. Also got the JB keyboard in as well. I can send you the quick and dirty of how i did it if youre interested in trying it out.

Also there is an updated ICS release from December from XxDiz over in SDX but im too stoopid to figure out how to root the ROM and start hacking on it. Any tips?

Sure buddy, you can pm the info to me if you want.

Hmm, you can root it by unzipping the ROM and the superuser.zip of your liking. There's 3 different superuser apps.lol
Just place the su binaries where they belong and the apk in /system/app. Also make sure permissions in updater-script are set correctly.
 
i put the binaries and the apk in place but didnt modify the updater so thats probably where i went south.

shooting you a msg with the details of all the changes i made in your rom and the commands i used.
 
i fixed alot of my problems by going into the advanced settings in CWM and formatting /system /data and others manually. Then again i have flashed the hell out of my phone and probably had so much residual crap on there it wasnt funny.

Ill try the 1.20 release, the 1.17 is working great right now.
 
What's the "right way" to flash an update?

I just wipe Dalvik and install. Should I be formatting system or anything else before I flash an updated version?

I feel that a full wipe is not necessary lol.
 
Okay I flashed version 1.2.0.

I'm still getting the HTC ring lock screen, how do I go about changing that to the AOSP lock screen you added?
 
I'm guessing the full wipe might be needed =( with a root explorer go into /system/app and delete htclockscreen.apk and reboot.

Nope, didn't need the full wipe.

I just deleted the htclockscreen.apk like you said, rebooted, and the AOSP lock screen took hold.

Great customer support with this ROM! :D

Haha that's good then. So how has battery life been?? And smoothness? Should i tweak it more? :D
 
Flashing latest now. Still can't get Google now to pop up. I see you're on boost. Could something be different because I'm on sprint? Figured the carrier installations might be different.

Ps to anyone more knowledgeable than myself, I posted a few questions to my rom development thread I could use help with, thx

I can't really speak for battery life since my battery has been messed up for weeks.

I've been unable to charge to 100% for quite some time. I've tried different calibrators but nothing has fixed it.

I can only get it to 100% if I leave it charging on my car charger for a few hours, otherwise it just hangs around 80-90% at max on A/C wall chargers.

Been frustrating.

It's been pretty smooth though, fine by me.
