IncredibleDoes has released a rom ported from the desire HD.

YES it is the NEW HTC SENSE.

It's in BETA and has some bugs but it's definitely something worth flashing!!! :D

HTCSense.com - you can sign up in the phone but you cannot connect to the HTC servers since htcsense.com is not live yet

Yeah have been following this closely. If your a beta testing freak and have the time it looks to be quite an adventure.

I'm going to wait it out shouldn't be too long before the kinks are worked out. How 'bout that 3 second boot time lol!

And HTC is including themes! How cool :)
 
The 3 second boot is an illusion. On a battery pull it's the same bootup time. A lot of bugs on this baby, best wait a few days.

V0.2.1 is up. 190 sec. until I can DL from 4share. I'd like to give it a try even though it's in its' infancy.
 
Yah, not touching this for at least a couple weeks. :) Looks great though. Can't wait to have a stable version.
 
its a truly beautiful sense... I flashed it for a little bit today but I dont mind messing with it and then flashing back to virtuous ... only thing I noticed is that in .2 i couldn't get my non gmail to even select to add it... flashing .2.1 now to play with it for a little bit...

one thing I did notice is that the apps automatically started to dl from the market once I booted up and entered my gmail acct... kinda annoying but nice for those who dont have titanium
 
If you dont want the apps to automatically download then dont sign in when setting up your inc. Just skip everything and then sign into your account through the market app. This goes for any rom.
 
for those of you looking for screen shots...
I downloaded the metal skin... and then took some screen shots of what I noticed was different... powersaver mode for 1 is an addition... the ringtones and stuff ui has changed alot...

I'm going to run with this for a few days maybe... all that really doesn't work is the camera and I'm ok with that for a few days...
 
Looks beautiful...I love it and could not be happier i went from vanilla android to HTC's Sense...I just ended run with an ShadowROM which is true vanilla android and thought I would enjoy it but I ended going back to sense and loving it and now I have even more to look forward to!
 
fyi the phone dialer app is screwed up... I didn't notice til I read 20 pages at xda... called voicmail and its fubar... can't make a call for more than 10 seconds before its FC... neat thing is that the status bar blinks green when a call is connected... very nice touch
 
This is another rom folks at XDA are calling "awesome!" yet little "tiny" things like sync issues, no emmc memory mapped and camera not working. Not making the connection on how that would be awesome. All stuff works, then awesome :)
 
I flashed it last night just to play with it and check it out.
It is really promising in my opinion, I think once all of the bugs are woked out it will be a very nice rom.

The 3 second boot is not really a boot, the phone boes into hybernate mode instead of shutting down but it is still really cool.

I would love to se it incorperated into frankenrom!
