Root [ROM] IncDoes Sense

Been running v0.2.1 for a day now and the only real problem I have is that my camera and bluetooth don't work yet. The new sense is fun and it will be a cool rom when the bugs are fixed. :)
 
I updated to .3.0 after making my 4gb partition and its working great... I took a screen shot of the new settings widgets on my photobucket... take a look they look really nice... going to run this all day and see how I like it... not sure about mms cause I rarely get them...

I'm at home doing nothing else since I feel like ass today. I think I'm gonna download it and screw around with it.

Edit: Didn't work at all for me in any meaningful way. I couldn't get any sort of cell signal. I'm using the 2.07 radio so it's possible that's where my problem was. Some of the features on it looked insanely cool though.

Try wiping then flashing the 2.1 build and then don't wipe and flash 3.1. Saw that tip over at XDA and it worked for me.
 
I saw enough of it to be impressed by the new Sense. I think I'll wait until it's out of Beta and they've got all the issues worked out of it. It definitely has some kinks, but that's to be expected at this point.
 
I'm running 0.3.1 now and the only problem I have with it is the camera bug.
I don't use bluetooth , and all my apps work fine , as does the rom. When he gets the camera fixed it will be a great rom. :)

Running 3.1 now and BlueTooth is working fine. Just had 3 phone calls and am listening to bluetooth streaming music right now. What is supposed to be wrong with the BT?

No camera does suck though..... toss up between no BT on MIUI and no camera on SenseHD......which to run tomorrow? :)
 
I have been using this new 0.31 for a couple of days and the only item that i have find to not work is the camera/video camera... Its defintly an upgrade on sense but IMO it seems a bit slower... but I do like it alot and staying with it for now..

Are you using exchange? I am dying to know if you have exchange set up as well as gmail, does gmail come in instantly. Right now GMAIL is polled using HTC sense in 2.2.

I am using Exchange and its pretty instant, within 10 seconds of hitting my inbox... Gmail is not as quick but from what I can tell like 5 minutes...

Thanks. I may have to learn how to root my phone figure out how to get this rom. Have no experience with rooting, but this new sense sounds and looks pretty good.....any tips?

Uh Oh it's all over now! :D

I used dadicus's guide HERE it worked without a hitch.

Might look overwhelming at first, but sit down, grab a cup of coffee or your beverage of choice, read through it thoroughly, and have a blast!

Much thanks. Will look into and attempt. I am excited about this new sense and can not wait.
 
Literally there are so many resources to help you to root but really unrevoked is the only way to go... Its a 10 minutes process with literally 0 intervention from you!

YES it is the NEW HTC SENSE.

It's in BETA and has some bugs but it's definitely something worth flashing!!! :D

HTCSense.com - you can sign up in the phone but you cannot connect to the HTC servers since htcsense.com is not live yet

So I flashed amon_ra recovery to partition sd-ext and when I tried to flash back to clockworkmod I lost recovery altogether. Tried uninstalling cwm and reinstalling to no avail. Tried flashing cwm manually with terminal emulator and nothing. What do I do?
