Root ROM Issues and Root Stuff (No bricks here)

Hey everyone!

I am trying to root my HTC Incredible and I keep running into the same problems. The issue revolves around installing a custom ROM. I have SkyRaider v1.7 downloaded, but when I reach Part Two-Step 6... It doesn't work. I am not a novice, but I am not the best. I try to download it, but it can't find the file. (Or I don't know which file it is)

That version of SR is VERY old! I believe he is up to version 3.5. You can use THIS THREAD to download the newest version. You can either d/l it directly from your phones browser or d/l to your PC and move it to the root of your SD card (not in any folder). Make sure to make a backup (In recover backup and restore>backup) then do all your wipes (factory restet, wipe cache partition and dalvik cache {advanced>wipe dalvik cache}) Hope this helps
