Root [ROM][July14] Icy Fusion V5.0 | Smooth | Tweaked | Themed | Battery

Reverted back to 3.6. Call volume better, GPS, not functional. Other location services work now though.
I am on 3.6 and GPS works. Need to enable three GPS services in settings except Verizon Location. This happened to me earlier, when open google maps phone reboot instantly. After several reboots GPS works good from cold start. I reflashed with full wipe and phone works good. After I restored many apps with titanium backup and phone started to freeze overnight then random reboot once.

Reason I reflashed 3.6 Icy Fusion was LG Notification glitch that enabled all alarm (email, facebook) instead of just selected one text alarm.

I've determined that restoring from Titanium Backup can cause tons of issues. I never believed others when they said it. When data was first fixed on cm9, I tried it but my data always dropped off and never came back. I flashed tdm's cm9 yesterday but didn't restore anything this time. Data has been flawless so far. Try doing a full wipe and reflashing but don't restore anything, or if you do, only a select few and see if that helps.

I have restored apps and data with titanium backup pro everytime I've flashed cm9, aokp40, and eclipse A3 and haven't had any issues from doing so as far as I know, at least not any directly after restoring. I did have issues with my phone using rom toolbox pro to restore misc data. I'm not saying that wasnt causing your issues but just wanted to throw that out there because it is possible to restore apps with data and not have issue. Although this was on different roms, but I haven't run icy fusion before so I can't speak on it.

Back after pushing out papers and tests for my finals this week. I have been on RC 1.3 a couple of days now and I have noticed that Volume+ and DLPmanager crash whenever i initiated or receive a phone call. This happens on phone calls and skype calls actually. The CPU speed was set to 1400 after flashing and the phone was a bit laggy. Set the CPU speed back to 1500 and no problem since. Have not tried GPS. Data was slow to fix when leaving WIFI but it came up after a couple minutes. Fog might have had something to do with that.

in this version i removed dspmanager and walkman mod and hopefully that fixes the calling quailty, and i also added some other things

I have reverted back to ICS V7 for testing purposes. Volumes are all LOUD at max settings and GPS is working. Having some issues with ROM manager. Haven't been able to enter into recovery to flash a new Rom. Idea is to move forward incrementally to see where volume and GPS die.

Interesting thing happened today. I went into settings and then into lockscreen options to set up a pin. Once I set it up I hit the power button to turn the screen off to test out the pin it went into a fast-boot loop. Had to pull battery and then manually go into recover to restore it. Anyone else have that happen? I didn't format the system again when coming back from aokp. Not sure if that would have caused the problem.

version 1.4 is uploaded should fix some things, probably wont release a new version for awhile as this one should be very stable and issues free, and i will put forth more effort to totally revamp the ui and do lots of themeing, so until then enjoy!

First off, thanks for this awesome ROM!!!~

Second, I haven't been able to use my spectrum with my MHL adapter to mirror the screen (with this rom installed).

Anyone able to help me out on this one?

Ok so I got the flash issue straightened out, and I first went back to SlimDroid. Sound was lower than stock, but still more than adequate. GPS was also functional. No issues, and no FC. Went to IC 3.(lowest version I have) and the sound was far too low at max. GPS took forever to lock. IF3.6 was better in call but still too low, GPS out. Jumped right to IF 5 same situation. Then onto RC1 and beyond, all much faster and smother, better functionality, but in call sound and GPS nope. From 5 on the battery life got increasingly better. Not sure if this helps or not, I'm not a software guy so I can't relate any thing of use there without guidance.

Have you tried R1.4? Becuase i know GPS works in that release and it works great and i still need testers for in call audio quality, has anyone gotten good quality?

dl 1,4 an when i flashed it in recovery it installs as 1.3 & in software info it says 1.2 .. still no volume control . an low audio for both speaker & PHONE . guess im going to bail on this rom an mess with ur windows rom for a bit . azoller1 u have done alot for this phone with the many releases an fixes . thanks again
