Root [ROM][July14] Icy Fusion V5.0 | Smooth | Tweaked | Themed | Battery

Made a new version with Bluetooth for call quality and got init.d tweaks to work with adrenaline boost tweaks and put holo es file manager and GPS should be better and put in go SMS pro works good and removed some apps will upload ROM later tonight, this thing is smoooooooooth

uploaded version 1.2 or release to the website, much smoother i have to say now the init.d tweaks are working, enjoy! have to finish the MNF game right now, come on texans believe!!:)

The call volume issue has to be related to the fact that there is no control over it. I can dial it all the way up in a call or all the way down and there is no change. The graphic shows it going up and down, and outside of the call it changes the speaker volume, but not during.

I'm still on 5.3, but...

Is this with the phone's internal speaker or do you have anything plugged into the headphone jack?

I believe Ac!d was taking over when there was something plugged into the headphone jack and not allowing in-call volume changes. Ac!d is in the 5.3 version that I'm currently running, but it appears to have been removed in the newest versions of the ROM. Regardless, nothing should be affecting the volume behavior if nothing is plugged into the headphone jack.

Try installing one of these apps to set the in-call volume up to max.

BTW: I'm not endorsing either of these apps, nor do I have them or any other apps like them installed on my phone. They just came up when I searched Google Play and appear to have features that may help.

So will Go SMS Pro work if we didn't pay for it?

Nothing installed in headphone jack, And call volume is set to max with the volume mixer in the ROM, it just doesn't do anything, while in a call. I'll give these others a try.

Tried them no difference. Also the external speaker in call is low. Sound works fine in everything else, just not in call.

azoller1 I love your rom's I think they are the best to ever come out for the spectrum. 1.2 is working just great I have been lurking in the forums for a long time but your hard work has made me want to register and leave this comment, and hopefully many more to come. Keep up the excellent work.

is the icyfusion 1.2 the rom that has all the mods and tweaks in the build.prop or is it just the tweaks and mods without the rom, which you need to flash over the 5.3 rom.

It may sound confusing but basically, do I have to download the BLUE letter 5.3 rom on the website, do all the cwm and wipe stuff and then flash 1.2 OR is 1.2 a rom which includes 5.3 but also has aditional tweaks in it and mods??

Thanks,
Captain

It's quite sad that your ROM is downloaded 32 times and only a handful of people comment on it.

i think alot are waiting on everything to be working 100%...i know i am.

i have been on eclipse a3 and get very very very good battery (15hr @ 65%) and zero issue other then the known BT...i cant wait till that works..i just picked up an OBD2 BT module

Somehow, I don't think we're going to see bluetooth working on anything other than the stock ROM (possibly a CM9 build and likely months out). I'm not seeing ANY buzz from devs on a new kernel. I think TDM started, but now he no longer has a Spectrum.

All of my programming skills are based on (don't laugh) VBA and I taught myself! (Hey, I'm an M.E. and old enough that my one and only formal programming class was 1.5 credits of Fortran-77!!!)

Tdm actually has a spectrum. On verizon now. He go a loaner from one of the other devs that are waiting for cm9 to be fully functional. He's working on getting a functioning CM10 build right now. And I think both biotic and nitro have both said they plan on developing their own kernel, although I don't know if nitro is actively working on the spec at the moment. Haven't heard from him in awhile.

I'm working a kernel at the moment. I'm kind of trial and erroring my way through it. So far I've just added some more governors and I'm checking to see if it will boot. Other things I'm working on are OC, additional tweaks for performance/battery life, and possibly a gpu OC. Please remember though, I'm just learning and it will be a very alpha build if I release it at all at this point.

Made a new version that might fix calling audio, and also put better tweaks in now i know that they are working correctly and also added holo locker, and other changes just go to website for full changelog

Good deal man.... Keep pumping them out... I think you show some serious potential ... Best of luck with future endeavors... Oh and any word on TWRP
