If you need anything or just another pair of eyes or a tester then pm me whenever .... I helped mtmichaelson with the first aio and a couple other things here and there

reallly came along way with the same problem . ill try to check out some other fourms today maybe some other developers got some ideas ,these roms are cool an the tweeks are great but that darn volume control fix is just elusive , ill bet (being the betting man that iam ) its a simple fix thats right under our noses , hope so anyway :o

I have to say that, bone stock, the Spectrum's volume isn't stellar by any stretch.

As far as the simple fix, I thought putting the bluetooth apks back made a difference for my phone. I can assure you that my in-call volume level is equal to that of my son's stock phone.

@kip: I haven't had a chance to try any of the latest series of this ROM, but it doesn't make sense that you can't adjust the volume in-call. I'm betting that the root-cause for you is that the in-call volume is somehow set low on your phone and something else you have installed is preventing you from raising it.
Have you done an install with wiping the data partition, in addition to the caches, before installing?

I have the same problem, cant raise or lower in call volume. You can make or receive a call, look at the phone adjust the volume, watch the the volume bar change, but nothing happens .

Just now down to 25% charge, I can't remember when I charge phone last maybe monday

It's low for me too on 1.2, haven't tested 1.3 yet, but it's been really low on every Icy Fusion version I've tried. Not a problem on stock or on Eclipse with all my apps loaded so it's definitely something with the ROM. It is pretty smooth, high 7000 scores on Antutu, still a little too much bloat and not enough themeing for me, but nice to see more people learning the ropes!

ive been thinking it has to have something to do with the buildprop script, i remember having this prob with a samsung. an one of the volume script values had to be changed. ,basically there is volume but no volume control . i have a few other roms on my sd card that the volume works fine an even quite loud on barebones rom, i will reflash an check to see if there are any difference in set values c if i can find anything. im not a developer an basically clueless but have been down this rd before, as i said b4 it has to be right under our noses ,an this rom rocks, funny thing is the audio for headphones is very loud an sounds great even with cheap headphones , cmon people lets find a FIX

As in bloat do you mean the extra data apps? Or the system apps?

Well the only other thing is that the dsp manager mod would be screwing with the calling quality so I'll test that and take it out and see

Probably not because i haven't added any audio tweaks and i think those are the things that screw up the volume control thing and calling quality audio
So maybe we can do without the audio tweaks in the next regular version of the ROM? At least until the in-call audio issues are fixed.

I'm with IMUcarmen. I can't stand the Windows UI. If I wanted an interface tailored to idiots, I would have bought a Windows OS phone in the first place.

Stackrat//U don't have to DL the windows ROM if u don't want to . dual boot would be great .just one more thing to mess with on my phone . I'm sure the windows peeps along with the apple peeps .think were the dumb ones .ohh well .to each their own

It appears no location service are working on my phone.

Confirmed, No location sources working. I do have a theory and am testing it now. I have an aftermarket battery and cover, there is a nifty foil sheet, in the stock cover, missing from the new one.
