Root [ROM][July14] Icy Fusion V5.0 | Smooth | Tweaked | Themed | Battery

got some themeing done, for the statusbar made it with an aosp look, now will work on the lockscreen thing, and also need a different xperia z launcher this one wont let you have a menu settings

I have to resize the images to 38x50 right now they are 38x38 so the next few days I'll work on resizing all the icons I just use gimp its awesome, so won't release an update till wednesday, I'll just make a quick small update for the lock screen thing instead of a whole new rom

man im out of ideas on the stupid red lockscreen button, i have fixed it before but its not wanting to be fixed, any ideas? if tried replacing with the stock lockscreen and using the stock home app, and adding back some other system apps but nothing, hmmm...

Have you tried completely removing the xperia launchers and holo locker? I might be able to look around and try to single it out tonight but I doubt it.

nvm, i fixed it by adding back the lg home launcher, i guess it worked a second try! will upload the update in a few minutes

Okay, that fixed it. Ironically, I like the stock LG Home.

Now, as for the display themes, is it possible to change the phone's color themes? Inverted is cool, but gets troublesome when emails with fixed colors come in and the like.

Doing anything besides fully inverted seems to cause lots of bugs and/or crashes with this phone. It's lame but the only way to get a different color scheme besides regular or inverted is to go with cm10/aokp41.

As far as the system color, thats not gonna possible for you to change directly without having the knowledge to go into the system files itself and make the proper changes.

But..
if you want some inverted apps and not others then just drag and drop which things you want to system/app

for instance, I like inverted mms, and inverted gmail but nothing else, so I just find an inverted mms, and inverted gmail I like and drop the apk for those two in system/app

If you have inverted but would rather have regular, then just get the regular apk versions and drop those into system/app replacing the file that already exist there.

Thats all there is to it.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this rom but its status bar to me is bland and so I checked out CM9 port and the status bar is just like AOSP status bar and the UI is just like the GNEXUS, its a beautiful rom, I highly reccomend this, but also CM9.

CM9 has issues with data connection. You can get CM10 though which is the same thing but android 4.1.2 instead of 4.0.4

Notes on bugs found since 01/04 hotfix

There is a problem with the Phone app. If I go to the home screen while in a call, I can not return to the call to hang it back up, and have to wait for the other party to end the call.

The stock LG Home and Lock screen work well, I would ironically recommend keeping just those.

There is still the odd bug from the USB not connecting to the PC unless I reboot with the plug connected.

Play Store renamed Market causes a case of confusion.

No other obvious bugs noticed.

Well the USB issues is pretty universal and not really any of the ROMs fault, and yeah I'll rename back to the play store to fix confusion

will push an update with the lg home into the main rom and also the stock lockscreen, will also add some more themeing ive gotten pretty far, well actually ive only changed one icon to fit correctly on the statusbar which was the battery icon mod, looking for other things to add.....

do you guys want me to switch to a CM or aokp base? or stay stock

to me this is a silly question :]

I say cm10.1 once it's cleared up of bugs. So maybe take some time off or focus on this version and wait for cm10.1 :]

Or start on cm10.1 now and you can just update it as tdm updates his. I'm personally going to be running cm10.1 from now on because for me it's already working well enough to be my DD.

I would like to see your twist on CM10.1. Maybe incorporate some of the battery tweaks you have put in to see if you can prolong the battery life there. I can get about 24 hours out CM10 and 30 to 35 out of yours.

I just flashed the update, i know i am behind don't hit me :)
I saw that in the lock screen there is no face unlock anymore. Any idea what happened to it?

I think I removed it, I mean there's no point to it because if you don't be recognized you still have to enter a password anyways so its like entering two passwords in

Yeah so I am back to this beautiful rom, which I regret switching from, looking at the reply to my post, and It just makes me and my twelve year old mind hate myself even more for getting fooled by looks and not looking at the big picture, also I would like to suggest getting trebuchet launcher being a launcher you get with this rom
