Root [ROM][July14] Icy Fusion V5.0 | Smooth | Tweaked | Themed | Battery

Sounds like adb isn't enabled by default. It probably just needs to be set in the default.prop file.

Yea, about that,

I looked through the build prop for a way to disable this pesky popup for "Global Roaming".

I found a few typos like "system prpo for sound exeption".

I guess if the xml file is synced with it, it could be "BOOBS" or something.

It is that way in every ROM so far....

I corrected the spelling in just the build prop and got a hung boot...

Alright so yesterday I flashed V3.0 as well and the boot animation got stuck for me as well. I did the 3 wipes, flashed, fixed permissions and disabled recovery flash nothing. I did 3 wipes, flashed, and disabled recovery flash nothing. I ended up flashing V2.7 again after 3 wipes, let it boot, restarted recovery flashed V3.0 after wiping cache and dalvik only and now I am running 3.0.

Maybe something for you to try. This is the first time ICY fusion has done this for me.

This is directed more towards Brian since he has been doing the theming. I tried copying a link from the default browser today and couldn't read any options since the background and text was all black.

QUOTE=Daviddee;5532119]I can't say I'm a fan of the inverted stuff. It can be hard to read and makes it hard to see some of the menus[/QUOTE]
I can see that being an issue, but once the theming is done it'll look much better, and be easier on the eyes at night

How did you get it to boot up

Honestly don't know, I attempted to recreate the being stuck at boot issue and wiped full, flashed 2.7, fixed permissions tapped yes disable recovery flash, booted up, then powered down, went to recovery via the buttons combo, wiped cache and dalvik and installed 3.0, then i didnt fix permissions, disabled recovery flash, tapped reboot system now expecting to get hung at boot animation and about two minutes later it was up and running, I was surprised lol, i dont know what i did that made it work, but it did

Just a thought, but have you tried pulling the battery out, both cards and hold the power button for a 10 count.

When I get a "Hung Boot", I press and hold the power button until the screen goes blank then press and hold the power + volume down until the "reset" screen appears, tap power twice and then either re flash or restore.

so, for whatever reason, I can't log into YouTube, says "An error occurred" whenever I open up the app and doesn't let me tap login, i can still watch videos though. Other then that she's very smooth, obviously there is some themeing to be done but az and Brian know that. Only other quirk ive noticed is that when I attempt to download something in 4G the old signal bars come up and switch back and forth, like one second it's aosp and the next it's lg ics signal bars, but I think that's just a theme thing as well, figured I'd let you all know

Yeah I know about the arrow data thing, I'm just going to leave it at the ICS blue arrows then keep the aosp 4g sign cause I can't seem to move the data arrows in the signal bar I think I might need to edit some XMLs or something

doing some more themeing and fixing of the statusbar will be almost completely done by the next update, well see how much i get done tonight, and havent heard back from brian on how far he is on the system themeing

Could be a few more days till i have anything worth pushing out. on the up side though i might have a fully themed contacts and phone when im finished.

I think that's a trickster thing. Also, I'm not sure if I've actually overclocked the GPU or not. I need to do some more looking and see what I can do about that though.

Will release an update today with mostly themeing all the finished and I will try and fix some of the random reboots or hung boots

The hung boots could be from permissions not being set right on the kernel modules. Double check your update script just to make sure.

Yeah that could be why also, but I looked and the lightning zap tweaks give build.prop line tweaks through init.d and some were doubled so I needed to fix that but I'll take a look at the script

Also, do you have adb debugging enabled by default in the default.prop? I've been meaning to look but haven't had time yet.
