I'm not sure if the kernel has init.d support at all. But you're right about trickster mod....which is weird because no frills CPU has always worked well with every multicore device I've owned excluding this one. :/

it doesnt yet, but there is a way to implement it and it be rom dependent and not kernel dependent. would you want that?

I just flashed the ROM and noticed that Google location services were not working. I tried to use the weather channel app and when it brings up the menu saying to enable location settings it does nothing. At first I thought that it was just the app but Maps is doing the same thing. It's making it so I have to use GPS to get my location. I came from KitKat V2.1 and followed the instructions carefully. Any idea whats going on?
 
I very much apologize for the lack of development on AWEsome Rom. My aspirations and hopes for the rom have not ceased, I am just too busy with the impending arrival of my son. For those who have and still support the project, it being the first for our device, I thank you and I do hope to get back on it asap. Family first though.
That being said AMAZING things are happening with the other projects in the forum and I encourage you to check them out. CM11 seems to be coming along nicely (with a few quirks...because cyanogen...) and the KitKat Awe development by brittnearl and starkraving is shaping up to be something of a masterpiece.
Ive not forgotten about AWEsome and I have plans to get back on the horse after the bundle-o-joy arrives, so please be patient. It may be a month, it may be several. I dont know, I just work here.

updated op with v1.2

only difference is replaced the kernel and wifi modules.

if any issues booting, let me know and ill look into it again. did this very quickly because im in the hospital with my son, so please excuse any problems for the time being...

edit: in my haste to do SOMETHING with this rom, i forgot to edit the update-script and build.prop...shouldnt have an impact, but it will say AWEsome V1.1
 
Also I've got the overclock kernel (in a flashable zip) for those who couldn't use the original rb kernel and I've got the Wi-Fi modules. This is just for anyone who'd like to overclock their current Rom (whichever one) without breaking Wi-Fi.
 
Says the file is corrupted. It lets me see the contents in it. but i see no boot img?? therfore im alittle hesitant to flash this on my phone. shouldnt there be a boot img?
