Root [ROM(kinda)] SlimStock+

I bricked my zte when changing the font so im looking for a rom to fix it.... i downloaded this on my sd card using my tablet but when i update from my phone it says e signature failed download aborted...can u help me plz

I say kinda because its just de-Metroed and deodexed. But I did add init.d support. If you flash this and would like to help, test out some scripts on your phone and post the results here for others.

This is the part where I say "....I'm not responsible for you and your device..."

I have flashed this from the external sdcard as well as the internal sdcard

put zip on sdcard
boot into recovery
wipe data factory
install zip from sdcard
reboot

It takes a lil longer the first boot
Slim stock with google now
Download Slimm+.zip

The first boot takes longer (may not if your already running deodexed, that's how it seemed on mine anyway)

Not sure if anyone's still paying attention to this thread. This is a nice ROM, thanks for developing it. I think my battery level may be sticking though, any suggestions?

Its probably not, the battery level goes down in 15% increments or something like that. So you might of had a rom with 1% increments like in dadcups roms.

Yeah that's right. Got a lil lazy with the battery mod, then I got busy on cm10. Glad you like it tho

That thread is in reference to an app called ROM Manager, not cwm in particular. I built the cwm for this phone so I know it works. Just follow directions in all the basics thread.
 
totlth, do you happen to have deodexed framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk without the UOT enhancements? Thanks!
 
could i please get a non 4shared link.....god...atleast go mediafire....doin this for a buddy anyways, how safe is twrp to use on this? i currently own a nexus 4, a nexus 7 (2012), and a note 10.1 2014 edition....nexus 4 is on overstock with faux123 kernel (1.8ghz) nexus 7 is stock....note 10.1 is stock.
 
Sorry for bringing up an old thread but is slimstock+ some sort of custom rom? I tried searching the thread and google didn't help none... don't have to go into detail about it was just curious, thanks

Yes, sort of. Slimmstock is a deodexed non-bloatware rom with init.d scripts support.:)

Maybe you could possible throw some advice or help in on the cm11 thread then? I know your a pretty well known dev and I've seen you on a lot of threads including my other phone the one touch fierce that I bricked 4 times lol, just thinking you could help get this phone to a higher cm version.
