Root [ROM] LibertyX 3 RC1.1 - Time for the Eagle to once again take Flight

Just flashed it. Nice. I like the blur 180 screen animation thingy. I also like the speed. I like the fact that you have cm7 power settings on top of the pull-down bar. I also like the fact that we have the blur camera. What I don't understand is why there are no cm7 settings in the settings. I would have liked them too.

I'm restoring from TiBu now and will fiddle with it some more. So far, I like it a lot, just as Jonathan said I would.

I just wish it had more fun things like settings and stuff.

Well, I like it. It's very good. Smooth. Don't know aobut battery life, as yet, though. It's too soon.
 
Running it till a new Miui build comes out.. Liberty was my favorite ROM till the 2nd-unit ROMs came out...

Here is a pic for you. It's like the power control widget but in your notification pull down rather than on your home screen. You can customize which buttons are shown with it.

i can't find where to customize the buttons on liberty... was able to on cm7 but can't find those settings now....
 
Any updates on usage for this ROM? Specifically, what's battery life like and does it have the Wifi/3G bug that I'm experiencing with CM7?

Also, I thought someone mentioned that you can't send MMS while on Wifi with this ROM? Is that true?

Edit: It was the omfgb ROM that had MMS problems
 
I ran it for a day.

I had some problems.

Battery life was sub par.
Wifi to 3G drops.
3G to 1X drops

I can't remember any more at the moment. I'm back on Apex till it gets sorted.

The rom overall is very smooth and fast though, better than Apex I'd say.

These issues with Wifi & 3G...are these inherent to 2init ROMs?
 
these problems arent really existent on the newest builds of 2init roms, they seem to be holding strong on moto based roms

Could you elaborate? I'm running the latest build for CM7 (10/21) and I'm having these issues. Some of the comments above indicate others are having it with this ROM.
