Root [ROM] Liquid Gingerbread v. 2.2 (7/8/2011)

Installed and setup the new ROM.

I must admit I find that my D1 is faster than ever before, I am more and more surprised every damn time when Liquid comes out with a new ROM.

I love Liquid, it most definitely increases the length of my utilization without 'having' to get a new phone, come on BIONIC!

Only problem I've had so far is that Chrome to Phone doesn't work for me. When I click next to establish my account I get "Error: unable to connect". It may coincidentally be the chrome to phone server, but I am not sure.

I have uninstalled and re-installed the app, plus tried a different kernel to no avail.

Otherwise, this is a solid ROM.

Running pretty well so far. Probably a little better than 2.0 or 2.1. Still running w/o compcache and haven't changed kernels yet...which is unusual for me.

Started playing around with the supercharger script with 2.1 with mild to moderate improvement and may get that running soon.

Haven't played with the camera or camcorder yet which seems to be a source of problems that others have reported.

We'll see...I've started to have some frustration with GB in general and have strongly considered returning to froyo.

Another update:

Still running great for me. Beyond my expectations. As of now, I have no plans on messing with anything. Compcache disabled, stock kernel @ 250-1100, no supercharger script.

I had the same problem, it's not related to any specific ROM. But I finally got it working again.
Uninstall from both Phone and PC then re-install each. It should reconnect.

I went back to Froyo (Concepts 10 at the moment). This working any better for those of us with phones who dislike GB?

dling thru rom manager, gonna try to get this done at work today. running the latest CM7 right now and its just...meh.

This release seems to be better than 2.1, at least initially. Browser lockup issue seems to be fixed and I can upload pics to facebook again. My camera seems to work again as well. Bumped my kernel up to 1100, no compcache enabled and it's pretty snappy. Battery life in 2.1 was pretty good, so hopefully that trend will continue in 2.2.

This may seem minor, but is anyone else having problem getting Angry Birds to launch? Rio works for me but no matter what I do the original AB and seasons both lock up the phone and eventually it reboots itself.

Don't currently have AB installed but haven't had problems with other apps.

Have you tried 'fix permissions?'
