Root rom manager not working

hmm it must be an issue with the gapps zip not working with sprecovery. I am not entirely sure as I have not used spr for awhile. Do you have any nandroid backups that you could restore to?
 
You have to select ALLOW first then select Deprecated, in that order. You HAVE to.

Ok so I flashed spr and gave it a shot and I could not get the gapps zip to install either it aborted every time. You are going to have to flash a different rom or a nandroid backup and start the process over

ok so let me ask you on what are you running for a flash and should i completely redo cyan over. or just try another mod like ultimate

If you wanna try cyanogenmod the best way to do it would be to download rom manager from the market and install from there using clockwork recovery. Rom manager will flash clockwork recovery for you and can even flash you back to sprecovery if you want to. To do this though you are going to need to get either a backup or another rom so you can install rom manager since you dont have access to the market right now
 
i restored back to 2.1 no mod out of the gate 2.1 so i have all back but rom manager never worked for me (start of the thread)
 
How did you get back to 2.1? With RSD Lite and the sbf file? Or do you mean 2.0.1. If your on 2.1 then you can't root until you go back to 2.0.1 unless you had a nandroid backup of the 2.1 sbf with root pre installed.

easiest way to get it back if you dont wanna manually push the SU app would be to install a SPR rom that has it. Something like bugless beast or simply stunning. Well really any spr rom would work just fine. Havent seen one that doesnt come with superuser permissions

just updated bugless and have superuser going to try a couple of things. I do have market back and google apps. I will play with it some more a huge thanx!!!!:)
