Root [ROM] [Mega Hit] [V3.03] [AOSP] ThunderShock [5/11/13][AROMA][FINAL]

update fixed the fc when trying to record. Also you should be able to wipe both cache and flash over 3.01
 
Lol yes. I was saying if your on thundershock3.01 you just wipe both caches and flash thundershock3.02. Otherwise just do a clean wipe and flash
 
Hey- not sure if this a ROM issue, or a phone issue. I loaded this ROM on my Evo last weekend and am just now getting around to testing the Wifi Tether. It doesn't run and I am getting multiple errors. (listed below) I also tried what was mentioned above (using the Wireless Tether setting that is native to the phone) and I just get "error" when I try to turn on the Wifi Tether that way.
Here is the log in the WiFi Tether App I have (just called Wifi Tether):
Activating Wifi Interface: failed
Setting Ad-hoc mode: failed
Setting essid: failed
Setting channel: failed
Enabling NAT rules- done
Enabling IP forwarding -done
Enabling access control - done
Tethering now running- done

Any help or thoughts? Is the problem the ROM, the phone or user error??

So you tried the wifi tether that built in? If so try wiping cache and dalvik cache again

I had tried that, and it didn't work, but decided to go ahead and reflash anyway and it now works! Wiped cache, dalvik cache, and data and re-flashed rom. Now it is working both in app and in native wifi tether.

I wonder now if it was the rom was a little wonky, or if I was running some other app that was somehow interfering with the wifi? Before I wiped and reflashed, I noticed that the wifi itself wouldn't even turn on. It had been on earlier in the day.
I am running Juice Defender Pro, but had disabled it to see if that was the issue. I had tried using one of the ICS themes that were in the ROM. Any chance that was messing it up? Also had 4G turned on -- would that make a difference? Anything else it could have been? Don't want it to happen again.

Ice10 theme shouldnt mess it up its just a theme and It could of been a bad wipe what recovery are you on?. I'm glad its working now :D

That's a good recovery so is smelk and yeah it probably was I usually wipe 3x just to make sure iI wont have any problems
 
Here's another question....any reason my phone now thinks it's in England? Can't switch language too anything but British English or Portuguese. My Starbucks app only gives me only choices of England or Ireland as country choices.

So you can't change language back in settings>language & keyboard>select language?

Nope, when I am there, I see "English" "Portugues" and two lines that say ()

When I choose English, it goes back to the previous screen where it says "select language" and listed is English (United Kingdom)
