Root [ROM] MidnightRom: Sense 1.5.4

Excellent stuff, xthedakmanx. Thanks for this!

First time I switched on 4g in the beta version, the phone turned off then boot looped 3 times before loading back into the rom. But now everything works perfectly, including 4g.

On a side note, is there any way to remove the audio from the boot animation? I like to keep my phone silent on boot if I can help it.

Just to add to the information pool:
-Flashed with 4EXT with no problems, did a data wipe, dalvik/cache wipe
-Flashed ICS AOSP theme over it successfully

If anyone is overclocking this thing for the first time, I highly recommend SetCPU on the Play Store. It'll cost you a couple bucks but the profile feature is so convenient and totally worth it. I use it to make my phone automatically overclock to 1.7 when I use Quadrant or play certain games.

Actually, I removed the bootsound from the newest version, but made it easy to add back.

I'm FINALLY able to upload to the goo.im servers. WOO!

Anyone using the last beta version, do me a favor and use the goo.im app to check for updates. I'm not 100% if it's working, and just want to test it out.

-Removed dual core mod (Wasn't needed anymore)
-Removed boot sound (It was REALLY loud) (you can easily enable it by using a file manager, going to system/customize/resouce/ and renaming "-BoltAnimations.mp3-" to "BoltAnimations.mp3")
-Changed some files for the anthrax kernel

It is safe to flash the newest nightly, 2.7, over this. Next version will have the most updated kernel in it. You can find that HERE

I'm on the latest stable build (.2?) And mms isn't working, I've got s-on and I flashed the rom with 4EXT. I'm also using the ASOP Theme. Is this just broken or am I doing something wrong?
 
Ok so actually clicked on the link in the op and it did take me to it goo manager. For some reason it didn't show up originally when I just opened the app.
 
i was wondering if the wifi is working on the beta on the midnight rom i flashed it today and my wifi does not work just seeing its an issue or i have to re-flash

Is weird but anyone else seeing this boot twice since the update? I rebooted and it ran through tonthe android update part then booted again. Has been fine since then. Btw 2.7 still has the issue with 4g not coming back on if turned off and having to be rebooted to get it back.

Mine hasn't. Try doing a logcat when it does that (when 4G doesn't come back on).

i bought 4EXT and have it installed.. i want to try this rom but the link to "S-ON" function in 4EXT s broke and another thing i didnt understand was this part of your instructions..

the boot part.... you reboot the phone then flash or clear the boot like you would the dalvik?

That definitely means wipe Boot. You wouldn't boot before flashing the ROM.
