Root [ROM]MIUI.us DefyX 1.10.7

I did another factory reset and flashed 1.10.7 over CM7.1 DefyX and this time I told Android NOT to backup/restore with my account. Sure enough, it seems to be working so far... BUT, I haven't been brave enough to start merging contacts to see if that screws it up again. I'm contemplating just living with several instances of every contact until the next MIUI release. :)

ACTUALLY, now it's doing it again.

This is after SBF, full wipe, and fresh install of MIUI DefyX 1.10.7

What's going on?

Which MIUI roms are safe for me to use (non Defy based)?
 
I flashed it and (as with most 2nd init roms) it hosed my phone. Trying to sbf now and that is also failing. Fun fun. :mad:
 
ok, just updated my wife's and my phones to this, and neither of our wallpapers scroll. Is this a glitch? Am I missing a setting someplace?
 
OK, read through this thread twice and i am a bit confused.

Currently running .602 and Miui 1.9.23. Is it safe to just flash this or do I have to wipe everything?
 
Forgive me but I am still a bit confused. I was running Framework's first build of MIUI for the GB kernel. In what practical ways are this ROM different from Framework's version?
 
Has anyone that is using this tried to make an outgoing call with Google Voice? The couple times I have had it before it never worked (and the camera app was awful as well).

Does Google Voice work?

Does the stock camera load in a reasonable time?

GV works if turn off third party access in settings, programs, calls

camera works find for me

Good to know. I may give this another shot. Just might be what gets me through the next month until I can get the new Nexus Galaxy S II Prime Google Mega Awesome.

+1 im iin the same boat, but i doubt the prime will be released this week, i say 2-3 more weeks, so verizon can start the campaign trail.

did anyone see the teaser for moto razr?
 
This us by far the best battery life my phone has ever had! 18 and 15 hours with moderate usage!

Again, don't sbf if you are on miui GB already...
 
Well. Battery life is definitely better when you're not using the phone - unplugged, overnight, it never dropped from 100% - but that STUPID FLASHING YELLOW LED is still there. I seriously have no idea what it is, but ever since the last MIUI version before defy, it's been a problem. And it didn't seem to turn on until I allowed MIUI to report on my stats. Turning it off didn't fix the problem, though.
