Root [ROM] Mobster/Barebones V1.6 --- 10/17/12( NEW BLUE THEME!!!)

just a suggestion so this is obviously up to creator---but i think it would be less confusing if the rom had the same version as the mobster rom it is built from- rather than trying to figure out if it corresponds to the latest/etc.

it will always be the latest version . Im just as dedicated as Mobz. in case you cant tell. I have had 3 updates and a 4th will be up late tonight

i had mobsterz 2.12 for a long time but i recently updated to the 2.7 when it was released and battery life isent that great with all the sense bloatware.but i did like the performance but not the battery life.i will try your rom out right now see how it is with real time battery life.so happy some one removed all that crap.

cool rom but im not really a fan of the blue theme.. you said you were open to suggestions... i just really hate all unicolored themes... if i wanted a blue screen... htc could have saved a hell of alot of money on the screen... just blue pixels... try something diff from sense but just as or more colorful

this is def not a rant against the rom.. it works great... just the theme...

Great rom, but I have to say, I'm not a fan of the blue. It's too....bluey. I'm undecided on the status bar. I think I can get used to those.
 
i just wanted to emphasize what i said in my last post... its not the fact that i dont like the color blue... its the fact that the whole ui uses only one color...
also i have this wierd attraction to straight edges similar to wp7/8... i actually like the windows phone 8 look alot but windows is just not... well... android...
anyway.. down with uni-color.... down with fillet... up with chamfer and rainbows.. heres an example (i know its not sense.. but u no what i mean)...

if you can make the whole ui look like that (settings, browser, widgets, icons, dialer and sms) i would love you... and please dont tell me to just get a windows phone... i love my my android... windows just looks good

I think its pretty cool but it could use some more polishing
 
i tried out both roms and im not liking 1.5 its just to much blue theme.i used 1.4 and im loving it because its just a hint of blue theme and your not steering off from what mobster had which was awesome just made it better,you made it your own so to say.but my vote is 1.4 stay with that theme.1.5 is to much.

Like some the Sense Elements clash with the Blue Theme like here the background for "Wifi Connection" and "Additional Settings" really don't match the Darkness i see in the other Screenshots but still i think it looks good

overall i like the ROM alote! it feels snappier from mobsters everything loads faster and their arent any crap apps running in the background.that bugged me very much with mobsters 2.7.the 1.4 blue theme i love it seems very clean and professional.the battery icon is awesome.maybe have a option to flash other battery icons in the rom folder for next update :)

~keep in mind i have it under clocked at 192 min and 757 max on conservative

been using it for 9 hours 16 min and im at 52% battery :D
 
I have read each post and I really do appreciate the feedback. As far as the Blue goes I am not feeling it as much as I did on first install. I like the Blue. Just not so heavy. It is a little too much. I will have a update tonight or tomorrow with a scaled back look. And I am working on something a little different for the future. Stay Tuned
 
is there any way you can get rid of sence completely.i know alote of users on mobster forum who use other launchers like holo and apex that can do without sence entirely.maybe that way you might have a huge impact on this ROM.almost a sencless-mobter rom thats even more lean and mean:D
