That's interesting, I'm s-off and ran quadrant and got 2744, that's a pretty substantial difference.

Ignore the numbers, they are all over the place on this phone.

I did a bunch of tests with 3 different roms and the only consistency I really found was that there was none.
Oddball benchmark and power management behavior

While looking at one benchmark you might see consistencies, switching benchmarks caused a new group of changes that throws everything out of whack. Every benchmark comes in with different numbers due to how they rate, but they couldn't even agree which rom was faster at times or by how much or what power management was doing.


Remember, there is only so much you can do with software before hardware limits how fast you go (and vice versa). You are comparing apples to apples, not apples to oranges. Run the rom you like and feel best suits you and forget the benchmarks.

I forgot to mention I dont have a pattern of actual lock, just the slide lock =p that screen is unlock-able with the menu button, I don't know if perhaps you have a pattern because with the pattern I tested and it works fine.

I'm S-on and never had to extract the kernel from the zip. I just flashed it the normal way and it was fine...give it a try.

I am going to try to flash with GooManager.... I'll write up the details. I don't know if I am S-ON or S-OFF though.

Edit: Yep. I'm S-ON. I guess I need to get S-OFF (which will make my phone fully rooted) JEEZ! HTC IS A BUTT WHEN IT COMES TO THIS STUFF! WHY CAN'T IT BE LIKE THE TRIUMPH?!

Be careful what you ask for, I'll take all this one time nonsense to get root just because thankfully this phone is. NOTHING like the Triumph.

My Visual VM working fine. You may want to try reflashing the rom or reinstalling the apk

I just flashed mobster rom 1.0.6 using the directions in the first post, from stock rom. Everything looks great so far, thanks Mobstergunz!

By the way, does anyone know how to disable the haptic feedback on the lockscreen? I can't quite seem to figure out if there is a setting for it, but it would be nice if i didn't get a vibration everytime i unlock my phone. I did try pressing the menu button to unlock, and yes, that unlocks without any vibration, so maybe i'll use that for now.

I tried 4ext just for the fun of it and it installed fine, maybe it's just me.

Yea I had trouble but thought it was because I was using a triumph teether and its a large file try staying on downloads an keep an eye or go to McDonald's and use wifi

Definitely devhost is the problem, they need to get their act together if they want to become the "developers host", even file hosting sites that limit speeds for free users are faster than devhost .

It is found on the Tone/Vol tab all the way on the right, both SRS and BEATS...

Mine only shows the SRS tab.

will this support openvpn? I see it has busybox - would we need a tun/tap driver? once the sourcw is released could you add tun/tap support into the kernal like the gingerbread rom TG made for the triumph?
