Root [ROM] Mobster Rom HD/Lite - 031513

It won't calibrate to extended batteries. Flashed that Mean ROM yesterday and after I slept for about 6 hours, it didn't even drop 1% lol

Been off the chargers for about 10 hours and I have 78% left

Weid. Yeah I had mine off the charger just sitting there for 3 hours with brightness on 12% and it was still 99% (Using Stock rom and this Battery Mod [MOD]Battery Mods! (Updated 5-5-12 for ICS Leak) - xda-developers)

IDK if there is something wrong with the battery (Fany Widgets and Widgetsoid both read the same thing) or this phone is just that badass

I'm S-On and I've flashed every update of this ROM without flashing the bootimg separately and have had no problems. Does that mean that the kernel's not being applied? How would I know?

I am still getting errors when downloading from Google Play. Clearing the app data and logging out of and back in to my Google account fixes it temporarily, but as soon as I grant other app permissions for Gmail, Reader, Voice, etc., Google Play downloads stop working again. Any solution?

Edit: Just wanted to say a big "thank you" to Mobstergunz for adding the silent camera features.

Same here except for version 1.0.6, previously I hadn't flashed kernal and hadn't had any problems, my quadrants are consistently higher on this version w/ kernal flashed, although only by 1-2 hundred , almost breaking 3000, 4g has not been as good but I'm giving it time try and see if its VM or even location, but as of now 4g is slower at work than 1.0.4 version or at least the time frame that I was running it, still get up to 7- 10 mbps out doors but less frequently now, indoors barely reaching 2

Edit: only been on this for a day so don't want to be too quick to judge

I've had no issues with this on latest update
 
Mob,

Should we be able to go into Deep Sleep mode with this ROM? I can't tell since the included kernel doesn't work with CPU Spy or any other app that can monitor CPU states.
 
Thank you so much Mobstergunz for putting your time into making such a wonderful rom. I just have a question. When I get a phone call the lock screen doesn't show the call until I unlock it, then I'm able to see the accept or decline call screen. Is this how the rom is meant to show calls or did I herp derp something during my flash? Lol. Any help would be appreciated. : ) Still an awesome rom!

I haven't done anything besides add .bak to the end of the apks you could try removing the .bak from the HtcLockscreen.apk.bak and the Rosie.apk.bak and removing the Apex_Launcher.apk from the zip then flashing the zip it should work

best thing would be to Factory Reset and install the Stock Rom before you flash the modded Mobster Rom V

Tried renaming the APKs in your ROM first, then did the factory reset before upgrading, then tried integrating the JMZ ROM APKs none of these worked. Oh well no big deal... i'll figure it out eventually.

Good question, I've always had this issue with this rom as well. Is it everyone or is something wrong on our end?

Well took till the end of the day but battery difference is back 6% again

That worked. I did not follow instructions when I first installed it. I have brought shame on my family.
 
Is there any way to put the stock sense clock on here? I was able to pull the 3dweather widget from a stock rom and install it, but the 3dsenseclock widget won't show up after installing it.

Also noticed there is a black square in the middle of the status bar if GPS is not enabled.

I figured out the clock thing. I had to install the apk as a system app with android commander and not like a regular app.

I'm gonna assume the black box is the no icon mod when GPS is off, I'm guessing it's black because that's the color of the status bar included in the Rom
 
by the way, this is not even slightly a concern for most people, but my theme on my phone is black and ics blue. wifi tether has an ugly grey and yellow toggle widget and notification icon.

ecs1984 on xda was kind enough to post a slightly skinned version that may or may not help anyone lol. itll at the very least match mobsters status bar icons.

also have a matching pandora widget, also by ecs1984.

Man I don't have an eye for detail I guess. I was trying to see the little black square and cant lol.
