I'm noticing a weird issue since installing 1.3 and 1.4

Superuser was acting weird....am unable to get su access on any app. Tried downloading an app that verifies root access only to discover it says I'm not rooted. Using 4ext and am s-off. Did everything in the fix your phone stickied thread.


I wonder if it has to do with updating the su binary to 3.1.1

Ya do not update the super user binary. When I didnt do this the rom runs really good. Looking forward to the addition of super su.
 
Has anyone one tried using a Wiimote or PS3 (Sixaxis) Controller with this Rom im thinking about get myself a Remote so i can play my games but i don't know if they'll work or not

I tried using BlueputDroid. (Use your phone as a PS3 controller or bluetooth keyboard) And it says please install CM.

Also you'll be using SuperSU instead of Superuser? May I ask why?

I can't get it to work. I have sixaxis. It just will not connect with my ps3

Some users reported problems with SuperUser and besides SuperSU is made by the same developer (Chainfire) as a replacement for SuperUser

Yeah I emailed the developer and they told me to run cm9. I'm gonna mess with it again when I get home. I'll let u know what comes of it.

i have the sixaxis app, and i use it with my dualshock 3 controller on my tablet. however, when i run the sixaxis compatibility checker it doesnt say its compatible, i also tried running the actual app to check, and it doesnt work.

however, there are some nyko bluetooth controllers coming out next month. those should work. as far as the wiimote, itd prolly work. and i think a wired xbox controller might work too, or a wireless + the wireless pc adapter. i think most versions of android have usb host drivers now?

Ok so when I try to run blueputdroid, it says "warning! The application has detected an unsupported Bluetooth stack implementation on this device! Please install a different rom or cyanogen mod (if available)!" Wtf and sixaxis won't even try to connect.

Odd how Anthrax supposedly adds support for Sixaxis and PS3 Controllers

did you change the bluetooth address of the controller to your phone's?
 
how do you get fm radio to work ? when i open it it says connect headphones i connect regular headphones and it doesn't work ? i have the virgin branded evo. Did htc take out the fm tuner ? also where can we find the htc flashlight ? :)

I suspect the FM Radio Doesn't work due to something in the Kernel but i'll have to test to make sure
 
Newbie question. I have rooted my phone, want to try this rom but I am s-on.
I have 4EXT, do I still need to do the boot.img thing in order to get this rom like some post up in previous pages? (I am not familiar how to do that.. if so can someone show me a link plz?)
If I don't, can I just do the factory reset, Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache and install the rom?

with 4ext youre okay, just make sure you to go settings and make sure smart flash is on.
 
Just wanted to pop in here and say thanks for such a good rom. I have been using it since 1.1 and have not had any issues with it at all. I guess I am one of the lucky ones!

Anyways keep up the good work! I have used OFFICIAL CM roms for my other devices and have to say that this rom has been just as stable for me as CM roms have been. That should be taken as a large compliment.

I have Sprint branded phone and also have to plug in my headphones, it works after they are in tough

Edit: it used to work, doesn't in latest update,
