Its automatically on since the files are edited directly

Is it just me or everyone else?
When I get a notification (text) and I open it, the notification light stays flashing.
Its annoying!
usually, it would stop as soon as I opened the message, but now it just stays on.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
I use Chomp SMS.

when I flash I get the stock kernel for some reason?

The kernel was made without using source so it didn't effect any labels in the settings

Adding Overclock is very difficult without source...... well when i made the kernel there wasn't any

i do plan on making another Kernel but since i've never built kernels from source i'll just wait until official CDMA Source is released for either the Evo V ICS or Evo 3D ICS which ever comes first
