I am looking under software and the stock kernel is showing up. I flashed with 4ext and smartflash enabled. Never had a problem before..

I flashed the latest Anthrax and used S7's init.qcom.post_boot.sh file and edited it so the 2nd core kicks on faster but goes offline normally when the workload isn't needed. Geared more towards performance but has excellent battery life. Paired with 1.62 GHz, lagfree gov and SIO scheduler...no reboots and insane performance with fluidity. Just thought I'd share.

I have the same setup but at 1.5ghz and it runs like water it's so damn fluid with the latest 3.2.3 Anthrax kernel.

You have to be a member of anthrax-kernels.us, then download the kernel from this post, then delete everything in system>etc>init.d folder, flash the new kernel, rename (or delete) init.qcom.post_boot.sh in system>etc, copy this into system>etc. Reboot. Governor, min/max processor speed and tweaks I made are all in there so you don't need a system tuner type app to adjust speeds (unless you want to). The file I uploaded is based on Southern7 of anthrax-kernels.us so all credit goes to him, I just made adjustments to how I want it to run.

I just tried this with a fresh flash of 2.05 with HORRIBLE results. My graphics got staticy on menus and phone was HOT.

Seems like your init files overclock it to 1620 . It did not like my phone. I prefer just flashing rom, then flashing 3.2.2 kernel with default options. Then my phone is 100% stable and operating correctly and smooth as butter.

Thanks for the info tho.

You could replace the "HtcListen.apk" and "HtcVideoPlayer.apk" in system/app with the ones from stock but it will most likely break the other Sound Enhancements and the Beats Notification might still be there

- Besides you don't have to enable Beats just chose "No Effects" or a different Sound Effect like "Dolby Mobile" or "HTC Surround 5.1"

Just found the "disable" function under Settings -> Apps. HtcBeatsNotify disabled, Awesome Beats uninstalled... and I'm happy. :)

I just want to say THANK YOU again mobs. I woke up to find all the bugs worked out. Also if anyone besides myself is interested I flashed the stock battery zip on the first page and it seemed to work despite the fact that it just mentioned that it worked with 1.4 and nothing about the 2._ roms.

i just installed v2.05 and i'm getting a sms error.
not sure if its the same error everyone has been getting but this is the first time it happens to me. I've had my phone since it came out.
Error 97 cause 2

I just switched over from midnight. Last night i was running v2.02 and had the same problem.
I am s-off and downgraded h-boot...

Did you try turning your phone in to an Evo 3D by flashing a New Radio ect....

If yes try a Full Wipe and Re-Flash the Rom

Not all phones like OCing that high. You'd have to lower the clock setting in that init.qcom.post_boot.sh file. For some reason I've always lucked out with VM phones being able to handle a high OC. I'd run it at 1.7 but I think that's unnecessary. Hell, even 1.62 is unnecessary lol

Call VM and tell them to "reset your services" it might be a Network side issue

- Your phone should be off when they're doing this

Ok problem fixed..... So I flashed a nandroid of midnight that I had thinking it would fix it but it didn't. That's when I decided to call VM. After an hour of waiting/ getting transferred I was told to
Go on settings/ system update/ update profile.
That fixed it but now I'm just wondering what it updated..
So if there is anyone else having that problem try that.
Now back to flashing v2.05 :p
